Mr. Muventen....spoiler or hero ?
We have heard of this coming GE13 bringing out the most number of "Independent" candidates vying for a position of power and for some instant riches. Yes, I have heard of oppurtunists and bona-fide meceneries who'd submit their nominations and wait. Wait for some politicians or political parties to "make them an offer" to withdraw from the election but with a price tag.
Others will just lose their deposit if they are plain duds not comanding any threat to the incumbent or the opposition or not good enough to be bought out or coerced from leaving. Yet others just want to get a feel of what this once-in-5-years drama in politics is all about and go in ( even if they risked losing their deposit !) just for the "heck of it" ! I have always wondered what evil plans these "Independents" hatch in their puny heads to make a claim for the political position which will also automatically favour them as in YB status (Yang Berhormat/Your Honour or Yang Berpundek/ no translation needed ) to their names in an instant.
One such man is this Mr. Muventen. Notice he has no surname-so emphasis is on Mr. !!! What can I call this young man from a sleepy hollow like Tanjong Sepat ? An idiotic spoiler, a pain in the ass, an oppurtunist or a true saviour who will serve his people and constituency and go on to become a local hero or legend ? But, hey, wait a minute......Tanjong Sepat is already famous for its murdering lawyers as in the Susilawati case right ?
You read this young man's manifesto ( if I may call it that ) and see if he's worth your time to vote for him. I like his "to-do" list.....but not the VOTE FOR ME thinggy or his party logo of a pen ! Don't this EC mutts know nobody uses a fountain pen anymore....we just "touch" the screen of our i-pads with our fingers, duh !
Can the big boys/players in PR and BN do any better ???
Remember you were introduced to this virtually "unknown" man without a surname, here first.
The picture at the end of the manifesto is Mr. Muventen's campaign manager, Harjit Singh.
INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE FOR DUN N.54 TANJONG SEPAT
Vote for me and I will make sure
all those empty promises are realized. My list of priorities and objective as an elected Adun of N.54 Tanjong
Sepat will be;
1. Within 100 days as a sworn-in
Adun I solemnly promise to create a
dialysis centre right here in Tanjong Sepat. There are many kidney patients who
live in Tanjong Sepat and have no access to such clinics or centres for
their dialysis treatment. And these are
ordinary people with no mode of own transport but to take public transport. I will
further ensure that this centre will only charge a minimal fee of RM1ringgit
for each treatment and visit. Right now the people of Tanjong Sepat have to
make a long and arduous journey to Banting
to first, make an appointment for a later date and then come back again for the
treatment and each treatment costs an entire months’ salary for some.
VOTE FOR ME !
2. A bigger majority of our people in this town do not own motor cars
and have to put up with an almost
non-existent public transport service. I
will pressure the government to provide proper bus service and at regular
times. I will create bus stops at every interval with a roof and seats for you
as you wait for the buses.
VOTE FOR ME !
3. Tanjong Sepat does not have a
library. Of course the schools have their own libraries but for the adults,
where do they go to nurture their thirst for knowledge ? With a growing
population each town must have a well stocked library. Therein the knowledge men and women of Tanjong Sepat
can spend hours in their free time to
enlighten themselves with knowledge. I
as Dun N.54 will create a town of learned and enriched citizens.
VOTE FOR ME !
4.Knowledge is power and as such institutions of learning must be available to
our children without having to travel
for miles to one. As it is, we have no tuition centres in Tanjong Sepat. I,
Muventen, when elected as Dun N.54 sincerely promise the people of Tanjong
Sepat that I will build one such tuition
centre right here for our children and to even subsidise to poor and deserving
children with my own Adun allowance for
tuition fees.
VOTE FOR ME !
5. Traffic on our roads are heavy and accidents are
bound to happen. What if your child is involved in an accident while crossing
the road to and fro from school daily
? So I
will give every school going child a Personal Accident Cover even before
I am elected as your Adun.
VOTE FOR ME !
6. I will ensure the welfare and
livelihood of each and every pig farmer and fisherman is never interrupted and
I will protect and fight for your right to make a decent living for you and
your families. That I pledge solemnly.
VOTE FOR ME !
7. I will as Adun N.54 Tanjong
Sepat speak on behalf of all the people of Tanjong Sepat regardless of race or
religious backgrounds. I will not make any promise I cannot keep, like what you
fellow people of Tanjong Sepat have been led to believe all these years from
those politicians from both BN and PR. I will call on those politicians and
demand to know of all those promises that they never fulfilled and lies that have brought us to this state of
frustration.
VOTE FOR ME !
VOTE FOR ME as I, Muventen, am one of you. I
was born and raised here amongst you. I am your “kampong” boy who went to
school here in Tanjong Sepat and understand every problem or short fall in our
town. Together we will seek to address all the above 7 “mandatory” promise and
obligation I WILL fulfill if you elect me as Dun N.54 Tanjong Sepat.

P102 Serdang-Dr. Ong-a young man to watch !
Dr. Ong Kian Ming, born 1975 is an academic and
political analyst turned Election Strategist for DAP (Democratic Action
Party). His articles are widely published in popular news portals such
as Malaysiakini and The Edge. Dr. Ong was a lecturer in the Faculty of

Ong is also known to have recently ruffled more then some feathers by questioning the academic qualifications of 5 BN candidates in Selangor state. This young man has accused two parliamentary and three state candidates and questioned how BN could
claim to have a “competent, dynamic and progressive” line-up when these
candidates had degrees from bogus universities. (read the Malaysiakini report here and here )
Well its nice to now the future of our education system may have a fresh face and a guardian by the name of Ong Kian Ming who's all grown up now and ready to take on the bleeding crooks who have been bull-shitting and robbing the rakyat blind for over 5 decades. The buck stops here !
By the way, he has an uncle who is none other then SB Loy.

Launch of the People's Declaration (23rd. February 2008)
Update
This bonus posting is a blast from the past. Just to jog your aging memory...See what has happened in just 5 years. Sighhhhh.....do you still see the same people today the same way you saw them 5 years ago before March 8 2008 ? What happened folks ?
Original post.
This morning around 11.30am. saw the launch of the People's Declaration or simply translated Piagam Rakyat by a group of concerned citizens calling themselves Barisan Rakyat at the Blog-House in Bukit Damansara !
The Piagam Rakyat, in a nutshell, calls for efforts to create a Malaysia for all Malaysians, to kill corruption, eradicate poverty, bring back genuine democracy, free Press, and an independent judiciary.(see here for rocky's updates)
Endorsing the the Declaration formally and with anticipated approval and continuous applause from a crowd of about 120 "like-minded" and deeply concerned citizens, were representatives from DAP, MDP, PKR, PAS and Pasok a party based in Sabah.
Haris Ibrahim- dubbed the "wild man of apolitics"- was as usual as passionate and vocal about the realisation of this pet project "Bangsa Malaysia" together with other "marked" friends in the Malaysian blogging scene like Raja Petra, Rocky, Zorro, Nuraina, Malik, Tony Yew, AminIskandar and Shar101 who put on a a lot of effort working diligently "behind the scenes". There were other bloggers, spouses and friends too giving their Saturday time, voluntarily to make things as comfortable for the guests in the scorching heat in Blog-House!
Everyone from Wee Choo Keong to Chegubard, Nurul Izzah, Ronnie Liu and Dr Siti Maria spoke for a few minutes about the People's Declaration and their committed stand in implementing this as best as their party's stand for a really "united Malaysia" with Tony Yew as emcee !
By 1.10 pm. the attendees gave another thunderous applause to the "People's Declaration" bringing the event to a close and were then treated to a sumptuous "briyani" lunch and satay........
My kudos to the organisers of this really memorable day and my special thanks to all party representatives present, for working together for the Barisan Rakyat dream !
Long live Bangsa Malaysia and the People's Declaration ! Your vote has to be the one smartest thing you do for this country or otherwise "stop bitching" and forever hold your piece or peace or piss or whateveeeer !!!!....... cos you deserve the government you voted for !!
Now the citizenry and I are watching you as you walk what you have talked..............Cheers !

take no prisoners....
One can tolerate a fair share of "running-down your opponent" from both sides of the political divide, but what surprises me most in the current campaigning is the absolute non-committal stance Najib is maintaining in not only the evil "soothsayer's" oft repeated chilling rumours of racial unrest and about the way Najib runs the country but in also allowing him to roam free instead of tightening the noose around his neck for the traitorous crime of treason against the King and selling citizenships to illegals during this 22 longs years of illicit rule.
Its frightening how unruly and disarrayed the laws of this country is at this point of time. The Election Commission must be held accountable for not addressing/cleaning up the many sins it has committed. GE 13 will certainly result in the most unexpected of results. The country may for the first time see a new government and change will be a refreshing welcome after 55 years of corrupt rule, OR aliens will decide who rules Malaysia for the very first time. Ahhh.....but at what price, Malaysia ?
Cyber-troopers like to think they are the new king-makers. Even half-baked or less are hurriedly "engaged" for big bucks, by
politicians to go 'under-cover' to unravel any and every dirt on his/her
opponent just so these politicians can use wantonly to discredit
their opponent at ceremahs.
All gloves are off and its like a
'take-no-prisoners' free for all. Smut videos and photographs not so cleverly edited have surfaced too. But some are caught before they can take off. Common decency and ethics is cast out
the window. Lies and more lies are repeated as often and as loudly as possible and
naive and gullible voters gobble these lies up as the gospel truth.
Flags and banners of the other is torn down in the still of the night and replaced with their party's colours overnight. But the voters are not going to be fooled by such display of banners and flags alone. The intelligence of the voting majority must not be taken for granted. But politicians being who the are by virtue of the party they belong to, are such idiots, no ?
The Opposition post GE 13 would be the best to look out for. The new Opposition will also keep the new government on their toes constantly.....after all the new Opposition are champions at it and have done very well to have survived successfully for 55 year, no ? But how would the new government perform when the last government has bankrupted the reserves, looking at the way Najib's been spending to retain his grip in the government ? Millions and billions of ringgits are changing hands even as we speak and nobody's keeping track of huge amounts of cash flowing in and out of the country whether into personal accounts or into some family members accounts in some faraway bank.
And losers will need a safe haven to run to and with plenty of "reserves" too to tide them by for the rest of their miserable twilight years, right ?
God bless all true Malaysians and Malaysia or forever be doomed.
Happy New Year or Ugadhi, Poila Baishakh, Puthandu, Baisakhi and Vishu to all Hindus and Sikhs this weekend.

1Moneyfest !
Welcome to 1Moneyfest !
Did you see the video till the end ? Okay ! Lets look at the many ways Najib is making a very bad start the second time around.
Lets begin with the company he keeps. Everyone on stage has had a string of controversies surrounding him/her. Everyone has been accused of one thing or another. Its corruption, racism, prejudiced religious bigots, thieves, sex maniacs, porn stars, wanted criminals and arrogant lying bastards. They are all up there somewhere and for you to figure out who's who. The most obvious and notorious being that plunderer from Sarawak Mohd Taib rolled in all the adjectives described above. I don't even want to go into that now as I'm sure you, my learned reader need no introduction to his putrid mega scandals. Can you trust Najib ( "nambikai" in Tamil and over-killed by Najib ) who has such vermin for company ?
Then Najib does not even talk about an honest days "work" to put food on the table and build the nation. Instead he talks about something he knows best and expects every Malaysian to adopt. Accepting hand-outs or "crutches" every now and then will make us a nation of bleeding beggars, no ? It will make us nothing better if not worse then what some of us are, right now. Laziness becomes our nature and thus proving what that old corrupt racist and irrelevant Mahathir who once wrote in his "Malay Delima" book as a prophesy come true. Now do we want that Mr.Najib ? Surely not, not from that father of all things fucked-up in our country, the MahaFiruan. (I want to digress a bit here, just wondering why did the Education ministry not use the "Malay Delima" as a school literature text book but choose that fictitious garbage "Interlok" instead ?)
As usual, again Najib talks about his "transformation" program. He says we must change our ways and trust in him and fight corruption for a better Malaysia. Change from what, Mr.Najib Abdul Razak ? Corruption is a cancer deeply embedded in UMNO and BN. Bribery is corruption. Najib hands out BR1M, SR1M, FR1M and all that SH1T in exchange and a promise of a vote for his party. Brazen money politics, I say and its all okay and in compliance with your religious beliefs to form the next government ? Corruption "packaged" in the form of "crutches" to "trust" Najib and his gallery of rogues to form the next government for a better tomorrow is "transformation" for you Najib ? And that's the best manifesto Najib could offer ?
What transformation are we talking about ? Same shit packed in a different jar before, now and forevermore ?? Sorry BN and UMNO, you're 55 years past your shelf-life and there's nothing new you can offer us that we've not seen or tasted before. The rakyat are fed up with your lies and are cashing-in their chips for good.
We won't burn the whole house down to get rid of a few rats. We just get rid of the rats. Good luck Najib......at least one prophesy will finally come true....the RAHMAN prophesy.
Good bye sir.
Inikalilah !
