Do'a for SUCCESS !

Helloooooo NSC, Doha was a success and you are happy with the results...huh ? (read NST report here and Bernama report here ). Just goes to show how easy it is to please director-general of NSC, Datuk Dr. Ramlan Abdul Aziz.

He should be held accountable of this shame !! 8 gold,17 silver and 17 bronze and that makes him so happy ?? You and I know what great sports facilities we have here in Malaysia, curtesy of the already, poor tax-paying citizens.

War ravaged countries with little or no 'world class facilities and ammenities' have produced better athletes than us ? How come Kazakhstan has 23 gold, 19 silver and 43 bronze and they are 4th in the medal tally?Or Iran has 11 gold, 15 silver and 22 bronze making them 6th and Malaysia is NO 10 !!! And this man expects the rest of us, to be "elated" like him while he brags Doha was a SUCCESS ! Helloooo......Datuk, we are number 10-LAH and we are soooooooo happy ???

As usual, we are always fed with lies by these poor excuse for officials and are told the same 'semuanya okay' spin to pacify us, lest we raise the question of 'how much ringgit' of the poor tax-paying citizens' or "public funds" was spent in total to entertain the "entire" entourage to Doha!! Stop it, shape-up or ship-out, all you free-loading excess baggage! We won't accept No. 10 to be a proud and "elated" nation!!! We are Malaysians... remember we have to be NO 1, so go... and make me proud! I'll not settle for anything less !!!

Sleep well, Datuk ! Say your prayers and "Good night" !

Mr Fish,
Let's be fair and give credit where credit's due. 8 gold may not be much by war-torn countries' standards and I am ashamed that we are even behind the Singaporeans. But let's be honest, too.. did we expect ourselves to do a lot better than the 8 golds? The answer is NO, we did not. Why? Because sports is just not happening in this country. It's been too politicised and there is too much money being thrown to officials, who are mostly politicians. At the rate sports is being prostituted, we should be amazed with the fact that we could win 8 golds. If we had converted all the silvers to gold, we could have won 40-plus golds!!! Of course, ifs don't count!
But let's be fair to our sportsmen and sportswomen who tried their best out there to put our country on the medal tally and on the map. They deserve some praise.
We should ask ourselves what we have done to make our fellow Malaysians proud, other than drinking beer and criticising others in our blogs.
Good day.

I wish to convey my congratulations to all our sniggering Sports Officials, our Minister of Sports, NSC, Olympic Council members for their joyous back thumping of each other. They have come to Doha and conquered. 8 gold medals out of 9 predicted means 'We did it'.

You bunch of nincompoops, who are you kidding???

I saw the sepak takraw final (men) and our tekong is a fai chai. Just look at the build and intensity shown by his opposite number and the game is lost before it even started. And serving into the net on the final point just shows you ain't got no cojons.

Hafiz Hashim, what the fok do you think you are doing. Leading by a street mile and you lost the plot. Not because your opponent suddenly got inspired. You thought it was in the bag and you started playing to the gallery. But son, you don't have the balls to sustain the party tricks. Betoi betoi, Melayu tak guna. I shylah. Have to hide away from friends for a few days otherwise they'll tell me to eat more belacan cause that's what you make me feel like.

And Josiah, what man you. Suppose to be world class.

And to top it off, our hockey officials blaming others for thier failure to make the semis. Want to protest. Not shy or what huh??? Muka tembok one.

In the next Asian Games, there be a new sport. It is called 'Bang Balls'. Very easy to play, can win gold. It just goes "Pap, Pap, Pap" but knowing us we'll probably goe "Pap, Pap, Plop". And of course we'll blame the umpires. Malaysia Bolehlah.

Dear goldman and sucks,
This whole posting is not about drinking beer and critising our sportsmen and sportswomen as you so aptly put it, but if you had read pg. 49 of the NST reg. Datuk Ramlan being "elated" for being no. 10 ...you will know my point of reference is all the 'excess baggage'(the hangers-on) that constitute our "sports contigent".
I'll be the first to praise our chappies if they excell(haven't I ?) but as I said , this is about hard-earned public or tax- payers funds involved, yours and mine, that needs to be accounted for and as such I have a right to know if it was spent rightly so.
We are a complecent lot by nature of our mind-set.And lets not pretend we are not.We don't have the hunger to win and when it comes down to the crunch, we don't rise to the occasion. Just look at our past glory(if any), what happened to them ? Always a one hit accidental wonder,(no consistancy) with the exception of Nicol !

8 golds are not enough. He shouldnt be happy. We need more than that. I strongly believed that our atheletes can do better if they have stronger mind and will-power. Look at China for example. They are asian like us but their quality is too far above.
Why? because of their mentality. Their fighting spirit. They want to be No. 1 and they go for it. They do it for their country's pride.
Unfortunately, here in Malaysia, like you said most of the sports officials are politicians. Besides trying do something for sports, they have another agenda. They want popularity and of course that's for the coming GE.
If we can change those politicians, i think our sports quality will be better.
