Dear John,
If you click on the big picture you'd see the Malaysian flag on the chopper is inverted.
More bloggers were implicated once for displaying the national flag up-side-down in their blogs-sites.
here we have the Bomba or Fire & Rescue Dept. showing their displeasure of the state of affairs and having the "Jalur Gemilang" displayed inverted on a govt. chopper.Or was it an over-sight ? Is that not treason against King and Country ? Just my observation and curious if the head of Dept will be hauled-up by the relevent authorities for an explaination for this "error".
Even more curiously, John, but why did you have to post the comment 5 times John ?

Bro,
Actually its an aeronautical tradition to fly the flag that way on aircraft. Its just to "show" it flying backwards as the craft moves forward.

The same would happen on a flagpole if there is a stiff breeze blowing right-to-left--the flag would look like its backward.

So, lets not get too excited. But about that dame in the chopper, well that would raise flagpoles whichever way the wind blows.

Cheers.

Mr. Bojangles,
thank you for that input.Must say we learn something new everyday and I have just learnt about this.
There you go folks...so lets put to rest this flaggy thing.....or if someone else can refute Mr. Bojangles' explaination ( though I will be secretly amused how the flag will be positioned WHEN and IF Malaysia sends it first rocket into space hehehe !!! ).....but hey...wait a minute....there is still the question about the "passenger" in the chopper, yes ?

Cheers Mr. Bojangles.
