Thoughts control .

The very foundation of our earnestness as proud Malaysians is screwed prematurely in our education system. I'm talking of the bastardisation of our history. Since when or why should Islamic history take prominence in a plural society as ours ? Were we not once a part of a Hindu empire ? Or were we not once ruled by the English ? We can deny that too, I'm sure, no ? ( here ) Fine, we don't want to live in our not too long ago colonial master's shadow nor in the distant past but to twist and screw and distort history to today's' kids in school is like verbal masturbation ......you get a "shiok sendiri" mental ejaculation. You cannot control our thoughts or stretch a lie about what never really happened. Erasing the truth and planting seeds of lies can be compromised with hidden political agendas. Don't we all know that a lie, if audacious enough and repeated enough times, will be believed by the masses, said Goebbels, right ? History is what victors decide what you must know and believe but to feed us with half-truths and fabricated bull-shit is a crime against truth itself. It is a sin. For God's sake, tell it as it should be told ! My generation learned with interest about the early cavemen, the Indus Valley civilisation, the French revolution, the silk route, Jesus, Buddha, Hinduism,  Prophet Mohamad, the many battles of the world, about Greek Gods and the origin of the Olympics, the Roman empire, the English battles, the Russian empire, Mongolia and Temujin, the two great World Wars and also of a Hindu "runaway" prince from Palembang who founded Malacca. What chance does a Form 5 or 6 student today know or has even heard of any of the above other then a Muslim prince founding Melaka ? And in 5 parts in 1 text-book too ! Zilch I'd say. We didn't turn out so bad when it came to engaging in "worldly" conversations with anyone from anywhere in the world. We knew a little bit of a lot. Why did my generation do such a sinful wrong now ? Arrogance over ignorance ? Money over ethics ? Power over morals ? Or plain bastards ? We also know now when we were students, we were never taught to research much, for the simple lack of electronic technology then, nor were we taught to question the notes the teachers taught kids through-out their teaching careers. Once in a while a rare teacher emerged with unorthodox teaching methods. Otherwise we repeated answers during exams verbatim to what was taught by teachers to garner marks and grades. While we're on the subject of compromising teachers and for good measure........copy and paste the link below and enjoy this classic !

While you were in St. George and I was in KE, it was fun learning about the various empires, Majapahit etc.
I even took one step further and learnt about European history and American history on my own because I was so fascinated by the breadth of the subject.
It seems BN only wants to raise idiots who know nothing about the outside world so that they can continue to vote for them!

Simple questions:
Why the Children of PM and his ministers are not studying in Malaysia? Why they are sent to overseas? Malaysian Education system can not be trusted?

ORANG MALAYSIA TERMASUK ORANG MELAYU TIDAK TAAT PADA BAHASANYA MALAYSIA INCLUDING THOSE WHO DO NOT TURN ON MALAY language
Assalamualaikum wr.wb. Assalamualaikum wr.wb. dan salam 1 Malaysia. 1 Malaysia and peace.

"I was opening the International Conference on Linguistics and Culture Development malay.. Conference is organized by UPM in cooperation with DBP.. The theme of this seminar is 'Pemerkesaan Malay identity as a nation-state building' I take the opportunity in the inauguration speech was to raise the matter that is the tree 'acculturation Malay' in Malaysia.

Language is social capital and cultural capital. Nations that marginalize language is a nation that does not animate the race and there is no self-esteem..

Therefore language acculturation is very important. It will produce a nation that move collectively..

Feeling accountability thick. This is what Francis Fukuyama called, why have the Japanese culture Japanaese Incorporated. They have their own culture to language.

Language but the culture of Malaysians especially the Malays is very annoying, sometimes frustrating and sometimes disturbing. Just look at the language and text and language on the Internet. Very strange cultural language of the Malays today.

The first example, when the Malays chat chat among themselves, especially the elites, they like talking in English. What they need to converse in English. We do not like the French, the Japanese and Korean people. If talking to each other, they use their language, not English. Strange is that we both love to chat chat, especially those middle-class language use rojak mixed mixed between Malay and English. This is clear enough drama in TV dramas including those published in the TV 1 and TV 2. TV 3 do not matter. Skripnya we see is a script language that mixed mixed. Malaysia is the third culture people do not obey the French language as such abide by the language. Although the French know and speak English, but they still speak French.

For those French have a long history. They claim that the French language in the diplomatic Erofah than English. Actually malay also aged 2000 years. Malay 6 stages of evolution have suffered from an ancient language to the language of modern. But what problems we are. The problem is that we can not distinguish perana Malay as the national language and English as a second language. We see the role of the Malay language as the language of official business only.. That is spotted. Next problem is that we are no longer as capable of not even want to control it GLC and private actions that make full use of English in their board meeting meeting. With the rapid development of the private sector, he feared, culture does not abide by this language become increasingly so.

The problem, the problem is not Malay, but our problem attitude. That betray our own national policies or pollute citra cultural Malaysia That's why there are meetings and meetings at the faculty senate that the university will use the English language entirely. This is a challenging acculturation Malay language in Malaysia." Unquote.

Imagine this speech at an International Conference?

What nonsense is he speaking? Malu lah,......Dr Puad...

You be he judge.

Cheers.

The Malay language would soon be the ' lingua- francua" of the world, my malay teacher told this in the class back in 1978. It was a must to pass BM to get MCE cert.
The malays live in a world of their own. Feudalism is the opium of the malay race. Their blind loyalty to authority has made them subservient to the system. They don't have to think. The ketua-kampung or penghulu does the thinking or he in turn refers to higher authority. So the the malay mind is idle all the time. When they encounter a crisis, they run amok.
Now they want to erase any memory of other dominant cultures in Malay history. So they found the Islamic history to fill our school textbooks. Now some jokers want to make it compulsory to pass History in order to pass SPM...!
