"On a day of pain and shame"

On a day of pain and shame, to quote John, I have come to a point of being totally prepared for anything....yes nothing my prime minister does, surprise me anymore....unless.... he reads my posting today !

Dear Mr. Prime Minister, sir,

In the holy month of Ramadan I wonder how you go to bed with your beautiful wife every night, assuring her that you had done a splendid job as a prime minister and have been a wonderful father to your children ?

While in all honesty you, my holy and clean prime minister, you had been personally responsible of robbing 3 families of their loved ones ! 3 families who find it hard to understand your goodness anymore and have no knowledge of the whereabouts of their near and dear and whose families you have instilled in their hearts the meaning of "hate" !

Was "honesty" Sin Chew Daily reporter Tan Hoon Cheng's crime ? Wasn't it you Mr. Prime Minister who only recently told all media to report "honestly" ? And yes sir, she took your advise and did exactly that.....while the still defiant bigot is on a road-show boasting like an "untouchable" !!

Why is this idiot so special and why are you breeding the likes of these parasites , Pak Lah, or are you afraid to him sir ? And even though you do know of your deputy's apology on that moron's behalf to the rakyat, that he and he alone was the real reason for all this "hoohaa" leading your country to the brink of a racial strife, had he the brains to speak with intelligence in the first place ??

You too once, in your younger and "political climbing" days, advocated to the abolishment of the dreadful and draconian rule of the ISA.....or have you forgotten, sir ?

This is the holy month of Ramadan, Pak Lah and I am a christian and even my little child of 11 tells me not to have hate or anger in our hearts during the fasting month for muslims !

Why did you do it, sir?..... why I ask !

In all your greatness as the holy leader of this "once" wonderful country of ours, I beg you sir, release them now.... all 3 of them, immediately and unconditionally too sir, for I know that tonight you can go to bed and look at the missus in the eye and tell her in all honesty that you have done a splendid job as the head of this country and had been a wonderful husband to her and a great father to your children !

It's NOT too late, sir to undo the mistakes this holy month of Ramadan ,as I know of the "ill-advise" whispered in your ear by the power crazy people surrounding you ! Heed my plea Mr. Prime Minister, please !

Good night sir....and pleasant dreams !

up-dates@4.50pm (13-9-2008) Ahh..my good Mr. Prime Minister, just read now that the reporter has been released......hmmmm....that's a good start, sir ! Thank you and now, how about the other 2 ,my good and holy leader, sir ??

If all those criminals can't sleep because they have a conscience

THIS wouldn't have happened

We would save time, trouble & money on detention & jails because all those suckas will just die of insomnia & tiredness

As it is they can all sleep soundly on their "dreamland" mattresses stuffed comfortably full of blood money.

Don't waste yr breath on talking to dragons and dinosaurs Steve.

1 is a figment of our imagination & the Other died from extinction

The Home Minister mentioned that the arrest of the Sin Chew reporter under ISA was in order to ensure her safety from a danger threat she was facing, based on 'police intelligence' it seems. But then she was released after merely about 18 hours. Is it because the threat suddenly dissappeared is it after the police had taken down her statement ?

He also said that the latest ISA crackdown was not politically motivated and not instructed by him but it was carried out by the police themselves it seems. So does this mean we're now in a police state where the police can do anything they like ?

Isn't this the same Home Minister who also said in parliment that the EC decided to cancel the use of the indellible ink during PRU-12 based on police intelligence of a threat impeding but then that turn out to be just 'hearsay'. So what kind of intelligence is this then ?

Then few months later the police created massive road blocks around KL and according to the Home Minister again, this was done based on 'special intelligence' report that the opposition was going to demonstrate massively in front of the parliment... but that also turn out to be not true.

So here we go again.. the latest ISA arrest of the Sin Chew reporter is also on the pretext of 'police intelligence'. If really her life was at threat, why need to detain her under ISA then ? Why Syaiful did not get the same protection under ISA then ? Anyway, since when the draconian ISA law is being used to 'protect' people instead ?

Everytime the Home Minister say something, he always wants the Rakyat to believe it positively and not think along political or racial lines and must always respect the so called 'professionalism' of the police or government in whatever they do which he says has no malice intention and with the main purpose to ensure national security is not under threat and public order is maintained.

But after so many flip-flops, didn't he know the Rakyat is just fed-up and beginning to doubt whatever he says ? If the Home Minister champions any course of action based on 'intelligence' which later on found to be untrue or even 'doubtful' / 'unreliable', doesn't that itself is a serious national security threat, as mentioned by Lim Kit Siang in his blog few months back ?

How long can we take all these flip-flops... which seem like a joke and insult only to the intelligence of the Rakyat instead ?
