But I want to only LIVE here...my country...my Malaysia !

My head is so confused and I cannot believe just about anything I read or hear anymore ! Can you ?? (like if you move your head back and forth, focusing on the dot in the middle of the picture to your right )

From conspiracy murder theories to buggering to police investigations and flip-flop statutory declarations and desperate back-door party "unions", price-hikes and "alarming" high crime rate and racism...yes, this new found "malay unity" campaign certainly to me, reeks of racism ! Why ?

Just what is going on ?? Why do we have to be fed with so many lies by so many so-called "revered" persons of presumed good standing, who like, only yesterday promised to take us (read us, the nation) out of this political "docudrama" of uncertainty ?? Can these people who have lied without flinching, to us, actually sleep soundly when they put their miserable hollow heads on the pillow at night ??

Just browse around the postings on the more popular blogs ( you decide if they are credible or other-wise ) and one, especially foreigners, would perhaps think we live in the worst of "exciting" times and with the worst of peoples ! I certainly cannot find a decent thing to say about the state of affairs now and am ashamed (both political and social) of this once beautiful country of ours...Malaysia !

But I want to only LIVE here...here in my country...Malaysia, is that asking too much ? Why can't we have things like the way it used to be ? And to say the least, I'm staying put right here and I will see the end of this crazy, crazy lying hypocrites and parasites kicked out of our civil society. There is an old saying and it goes like this...."you don't burn the whole house down just to get rid of a few rats, do you ? ".... right? And I will swallow the bitter pill even as I read what one anonymous reader commented on my earlier posting which I re-produce below in verbatim.......sigh...no cheers today !
I read Malaysia Today and your website when I get a twinge of homesickness (it's not often, what with the pressures of daily life). But this is an effective tonic. It reminds me why I left to live in a country where I am an equal, I am free, I am not discriminated against and the Govt is afraid of me!The system is very transparent and the people are very kind.
Sad to say I also earn more, have a great lifestyle and family and was given citizenship only after 2 years residence. My kids go to great schools (all for a nominal fee) and I have no great fears about how they will do in life. Nobody asks us about our religion or origins. My only regret is for those I left behind in a that country was just behind Japan so many long years ago.

Malaysia deserves better !

It is indeed shocking and depressing to know, and you better believe this folks, the whole world IS watching and laughing at us, Malaysians, in these trying and frustrating political times !

Malaysia is often cited as a Muslim country that has successfully embraced modern technology and participatory democracy. Its success in building an economy based on knowledge and enterprise is evident. Its ability to run a just and transparent democracy is far less apparent.......

Reports from the TimesOnline (21st. July 2008) of London carried the above opening paragraph this week and reading it makes me wanna get angry yet recoil in shame of what the world thinks of us in this country which was once paradise (and that seems so very long ago...). And yet....we have at the end of the story, this endearing and hopeful line.......

.................Malaysia deserves better.

Click to read the full story here

How do you restore that faith we had on this once proud country ? Do we blame them foreigners for the wicked conclusions that they draw with their opinions ? We, as Malaysians today, have been washing our dirty linen in public. Controversies, hypocrisies, denials and humiliating one another has been the order of the day almost everyday ! Corruption and abuse of power is second nature in all levels of public services, and the King's once noble and uniformed servants are grovelling at publicly elected representatives' feet ! Where is and what has happened to their allegiance to honor and serve His Majesty ? Who is in charge now ?....will somebody please tell me if we have lost everything and sold our souls to the devil ?

God bless and heal my sick country, sigh !

Kompressed state execs !

Monday July 21, 2008-The Star
(parenthesis, mine)

KUALA TERENGGANU: The state government has defended the purchase of 14 Mercedes E200 Kompressor cars at RM3.43mil for the use of its state executive councillors and senior officials.

At a time like this , RM3.43 million for 14 E200 is considered a defensive "good buy"... yah ?

Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said said the state government had planned to purchase the cars for a long time now to replace its Proton Perdana V6 Executive fleet in a move to cut cost.

How long ago, you say...and how is this purchase considered "cut-costs ?

“Please understand that the Proton Perdanas go through continuous long-distance journeys. It’s costing us a lot of money due to high cost of maintenance.

Yeah...right ! So the rest of us "understanding Malaysians" don't travel much ? Just love getting stuck in traffic jams and enjoy burning-up petrol ! Ever considered a cheaper option....like sacking incompetent drivers with no car maintenance knowledge !

“We are not saying that the national car is not good but in reality we are coughing up more money for maintaining the Proton Perdanas, particularly the gear boxes,” he said.

Then WHAT are you struggling to say ? Which ever way I see it, this guy is saying our Perdanas are hopeless ?....and to think we are proud to say our Malaysian made cars are world class ! Of course..... if all you can afford to drive is a Malaysian-made car ! And Perdana V6 makers....there you have it, you make lousy gear-boxes ! Any comments ?

Ahmad cited the example of the Proton Perdana of state Commerce, Industry and Environment committee chairman Toh Chin Yaw, which has twice undergone expensive repairs costing RM50,000 within 36 months.

You put a monkey who does not take care with regular checks behind the wheel and of course...you get such high repair costs....anyways pray tell me.... which part of the Perdana V6 costs RM50,000 huh ? Very curious....did this monkey pay out of his own pocket or is this another "hiked-up" bill which some apointed driver has "conjured-up" to bill the state, on the side ?

“In the long run, Mercedes cars are cheaper to maintain and could also save us fuel costs.

Bullshit !!.....given the price of each periodic maintenance check-up and the price of fuel ! Just ask any Merc driver who has to pay-out of his own pocket !

“This is the state’s long-term plan – we are farsighted. The cars could also fetch a high market price, when sold as second-hand cars.

See folks even as they have been just issued with brand new E200's....they are already talking of selling it as second hand cars !....why not just get these jokers "second-hand" cars ? Far-sighted huh ?....hmmmmm !

“We studied all angles before deciding to buy the Mercedes E200 cars,” he added.

Yikes !...there was a special committee set-up for this ?

Ahmad also denied that the oil royalty money was used to buy the cars.

If not oil royalties, he means money allocated for the poor (read you and me)...what's the difference....it's still money from the already suffering tax-payers, moron !

“In the first place we have yet to receive the oil royalties from the Federal Government.

Ahhhh....so it IS monies set aside for the poor !....like petrol subsidies, schooling and medical aides for the hard-core poor in the state, right ?

“The funds to procure the cars were from our own coffers and has nothing to do with the oil royalties,” he said.

Yeaaaah right , YOUR coffers, my arse ! Yes these coffers are only for the privileged few ! Take a cue from the Penang EXCO, .... fool ! And I drive a 7 year old Perodua Kembara EZ...sigh !!!

K.L. -out-of-bounds !

The whole city is in an"out-of-bounds" mode and all he can muster is a "I'm sorry" ! ( read here )

What is this country coming to ? Heck...this time around nobody is cursing the "opposition" as there was nothing "planned" but with the police force at their back and call, it is the BN that is being cursed ! Right from Saturday till today and knowing very well that city folks need to go to work and ordinary citizens had chores to do, like sending their kids to school and to day-care centres et cetera ! And this dirty ploy is used everytime to frustrate ordinary "rakyat" into thinking it is the fault of the opposition and their demonstrations !........and I wonder what "security" reasons this Home Minister is talking about ! Security for whom and from whom , I might want to ask ?? I am surprised why the military was not called in....if there was indeed such a security threat ?

Stop this, please Mr. Home Minister, sir, do your job and stop making ordinary people suffer because of hearsay ( read Haris' here ) ! You don't care or know how much petrol is "burnt-up" just sitting in a dead-locked jam - with the price of petrol today !! Do you ? For you it is a breeze through traffic with all your out-riders clearing the passage, right ?? So why do you care !
“The public want their safety, not demonstrations or interference with their daily life. We have got a lot of evidence to show that whatever they do - they (demonstrations) do interfere with public interest,” he said at the Parliament lobby.

I was denied entry to my office this morning, by your men in blue and I had some urgent work to do ! Sheeeeesh !!!

Datuk Nicol David.....Yes !! (part 2)

Sometime in November of 2006 I posted an article in this here blog about an award for this young lass ( read here ) and today, 1 year and 8 months later that posting is realised ! (read here ) Yes, way to go..... Datuk Nicol David !

I've been fortunate enough for the rare opportunity to once talk to her in person back in early 2000 at the club and predicted about her one day becoming the world No. 1, and jokingly quipped that she should come back to thank me for the confidence I had on her........well, she did become world champion, but alas...she never came back to thank me.....sigh !

Never mind that, as I am fully aware of her tight schedules between focusing on gruelling practises and the little time she has left to spend with her near and dear ones !

As I read the list of recipients and she, at 25, being the youngest ever, is truly deserving of such an accolade bestowed on her ! Nicol David , Malaysia is proud of you and you have made a difference to us all and made your parents absolutely proud ! Good girl !
Congratulations, Cheers and Godbless Datuk Nicol David !!!

just another day in paradise !

Now folks, I did not laugh as I read this story in the Star on-line version today ! And I bet you my hard earned ringgit, the IGP is going to come out with his usual line of "one rotten apple don't make the whole barrel bad" excuse ! I cringed !

For God's sake.......the entire police station in Gemas ?? Heads must literally "roll" now Mr. IGP, and I hold you to blame entirely if nothing is done, you Mr. IGP you, who would not hesitate to deprive innocent and harmless law-abiding and tax-paying citizens to gather peacefully in our own country in protest of the deplorable state of affairs affecting the nation, while your men practically rape and plunder the "rakyat" blind ! May I suggest you stay out of politics, sir ? Restore my faith in your noble force, sir !

Sheeesh.....I wonder too how these same government "servants-in-blue" swear their allegiance to serve His Majesty, up-hold the laws and protect the citizens, during their oath-of-office in their passing-out parade......is this not "high treason" towards my King and country ??

For the benefit of all law-abiding citizens, who need to vent their frustration and comment their displeasure on-line, I reproduce the Star's article in verbatim below;

Cop vs cops in Gemas station

By SARBAN SINGH

GEMAS: A policeman has lodged a report against all his colleagues including his superiors allegedly over dissatisfaction on how the monthly bribes from those operating illegal activities was being distributed.

In retaliation, one of his superiors, a sergeant, lodged another police report against the policeman, a lance corporal, for allegedly selling station property to scrap dealers.

A source said the lance corporal, in his 40s, was dissatisfied with his superiors for allegedly taking the lion’s share of the bribes while the rank and file received very little.

“In fact, the complainant claimed that he did not get a sen,” the source said.

The report was lodged earlier this week.

The sergeant, in an apparent tit-for-tat, lodged another report against the lance corporal alleging that he had sold some old wooden and iron furniture from the police station to a dealer.

“His colleagues even know where the dealer is operating from,” the source said.

State police chief Datuk Osman Salleh confirmed that a report has been lodged.

“We are investigating the claims made by the lance corporal. We do not want to make conclusions straightaway as the allegations are serious,” he said.

He said all the policemen were still on duty and have not been asked to go on leave.

He said action would be taken against his men if the claims were true.

It is understood that the Anti-Corruption Agency has also started a probe.

Sleep well Mr. IGP....while Nurin's killers is/are still walking free, Nini and Asmawi are still missing, while the mat rempits are still having "easy-pickings" on helpless victims and a host of other heinous crimes are on the up and up...............goodnight !

moros !

Moron was originally an English scientific term, coined in 1910 by psychologist Henry H. Goddard from the Greek word moros, which meant "dull" (as opposed to "sharp"), and used to describe a person with a mental age located between 8 and 12 on the Binet scale. It was once applied to people with an IQ of 51-70, being superior in one degree to "imbecile" (IQ of 26-50) and superior in two degrees to "idiot" (IQ of 0-25). The word moron, along with others including "retarded", "idiotic", "imbecilic", "stupid", and "feeble-minded", was formerly considered a valid descriptor in the psychological community, though these words have all now passed into common slang use, exclusively in a derogatory context.

(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Well you might be wondering why this education above for is.....right ? Well, folks sometimes I am dumbfounded to a point of being incapable of original lines......so you see, less said about it the better for my b/p ! So in relation to the definitions above of a "thousand words" I present you with one picture below that befits all of those words above !!

(btw folks do I really have to put a name to the picture ???..... nawh !!)

Have a fabulous week-end dear fellow Malaysians ! Godbless and Cheers !

Thursday, July 03, 2008

we are being "buggered" too !

Correct me if I am wrong, folks, but is not the Armed Forces under the patronage and behest of His Majesty the King ? And it certainly worries me to know that the IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan can make such a purported declaration .( read here )

Somehow I sense a veiled threat to the "rakyat" once again even before anything happens...or do the police ( our super-guardians of implementing the laws, created by Parliament, to keep safe the citizens of this here country !!) know something IS indeed brewing in the political front in this beloved Malaysia of ours ?

Mr. IGP, don't do this to innocent tax-paying and already frustrated citizens, please ! The "temper-escalating" cost of everything from food to fuel is taking a drastic toll on the meek man-on-the-street already........do we need to be chided further by such insolent warnings ??

God have mercy on us all ! Daulat Tuanku !!
