For Sale....to the higgest bidder !

( The Star )The Bukit Selambau state by-election created a record for having the most number of candidates -- 15 altogether, with 13 of them independents.

Among the huge pool of independents are BN's S. Ganesan and PKR’s S. Manikumar.

The 13 independent candidates are R. Loganathan, Tan Hock Huat, Mohd Radhi Mat Lazim, Mohd Fadzli Wahab, Abdul Rahim Abu, L. Sarala, A. Jayagopal, S. Moganakumar, Khamis Awang, Husaini Yaacob, Venason Michael, Mejar (Rtd) Anuar Abdul Hamid and T. Chandrarajan.

Now these 13 morons, who have "invested" in this contest are there for monetary gain ONLY . They are for SALE to the highest bidder ! Mark my word by election day i.e. 7th. April 2009 a good number would have withdrawn from contesting after sneakily accepting some form of cash transaction deal !

And that's where the power of one with the most cash really counts ! CASH is KING ! My advice to all voters is to shun these "prostitutes" like the gonorrhea, syphilis or chlamydia. And if they approach you with money..... take it, you will be doing them a favor BUT DON'T VOTE FOR THEM !

These are the mercenaries.....the dogs of war who would jump or abandon camp to the highest bidder ! They have no love for you the people but themselves ! Remember what that last moron V. Arumugam (pic) did to you, no ? You forget so soon ?

And I'm still scratching my head in wonder why this idiot Tan Hock Huat (pic) is doing in a predominantly Indian area....he better be speaking d'language fluently for his own damn sake ! And for good measure he's even holding 2 frogs (his "inviting" intentions to any bidder, perhaps ?)

And over in Bukit Gantang Barisan’s Ismail Saffian, 49, will face former Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, 52, of PAS and Kamarul Ramizu Idris, 42 an independent.

Hmmmm.....more theatrics for from another spoiler who would screw your interest the minute anyone makes a bid..... to leap !!! Have we not learnt anything ?

Vote wisely folks.....vote wisely for your children's sake and don't be fooled again !

God help us !

Real and present danger ( pt.2 )

By AIZAT SHARIF March 27, 2009 Categories: News (Malay Mail)

TERRIFYING photos that you rarely see.

These bone-chilling pictures show a daring, murderous attack in progress.
The brazen assault, carried out with lighting speed and split-second timing, was captured in horrific detail by the family’s CCTV cameras and raises concerns about neighbourhood security.

The 78-second clip posted on the video-sharing website YouTube showed the attack in all its alarming clarity.

In the incident at Taman Maluri, Cheras, six men, ominously clad in black, rode in on three motorcycles. They stopped in front of the house belonging to 37-year-old clerk Candy Teoh and her husband Lim Gim Leong, 40, just as the couple’s friend, Alvin Chua, 39, pulled up in front of the house for a visit.

As Chua got out of his Nissan Cefiro and walked to the front gate, he noticed one of the six men getting off his motorcycle. He had a machete in his hand.

That’s when Chua ducked and took off running towards his friend’s house. The assailant was close on his heels, swinging at him and just barely missing.

Just seconds earlier, Teoh had driven in and parked her Toyota Altis in the porch after doing some grocery shopping.

Her husband was at work at the time. The couple’s Indonesian maid was in the middle of closing the wrought-iron gates when she saw Chua being chased by a parang-wielding man. She panicked, fumbled for the lock and then ran for her life, with Chua close behind.

In his haste, Chua lost his footing and fell to the ground.

Meanwhile, Teoh, terrified and fearing for her life, sat frozen in the car as the assailants took control of the situation.

The 78-second footage showed two men entering the compound, taking valuables from Chua. The others on two bikes cordoned off and secured the area. They could be seen in the background, positioning their bikes to enable them to make a quick getaway.

At least two men inside the compound were armed with machetes. They all had their crash helmets on.

One of the men who had entered the compound then saw Teoh, cowering inside her Altis.

“He told my wife to open the door and threatened to smash the windows if she refused. After my wife did as she was told, he pointed the machete at her and demanded for her money,” said Lim.

After grabbing the loot, the men sped off on their bikes, heading off in one direction. Teoh was clearly still traumatised by the incident that happened on March 16 at 2.57pm and refused to talk to Malay Mail.

Lim said his wife lost her handbag, RM30 and other items such as her handphone, her MyKad and credit cards.

Chua lost his wallet , which contained RM300, his handphone, credit card and MyKad.

A report was lodged at the Cheras police station.

I am totally lost for words ! And we ,the tax-paying citizens have to put up with shit-heads terrorising the neighbourhood ? This is the state of our country where the government and the police have failed us miserably. I shudder to think who their next victim is !

Over to you Khairy !

All hail the king of mutts... (mats)

So we have the infamous "first son-in-law" Khairy Jamaluddin, heading the UMNO Youths of the country. A very powerful position indeed, and surely earmarked for greater heights !

Now this young man has been branded a corrupt 'up-start', an 'arrogant Oxfart', a self proclaimed king/champion of the scum-bags of the nation aka 'mat rempit' amongst other more derogative nick-names.

Recently found guilty of money-politics and immediately let-off with a "mere tap on the wrist" warning and have been politically written-off as one who single-handedly dragging down UMNO's corruption index to the pits, claims he fought "against all odds after being written-off many times" to be head-honcho and the nightmare of UMNO Youth !

Impressive, if I may say so of one so educated, young, arrogant , reckless and rich. Remember Khairy, "pride goes before fall ".

Now can he shed the baggage of parasites he's so accustomed hanging around with ? I'm talking about the shit-heads called "Mat Rempits" and their lowly life-form scavenging and criminal tendencies ? Can he ? If he wants to make a mark...I say he should confiscate all their helmets...wait a minute....they DON'T wear helmets ! So I say confiscate their "kap-chais" and send them to jail en-bloc, every time they move around in packs of 2 or more ! Can he do that ??

And then there is the prime-minister-in-waiting's sole discretion to accepted this "flag-burning" renegade in his team ? Will Najib include this "up-start" who's still wet behind the ears and has always been a thorn, in his cabinet ? Was there a deal made here ?

And to all the other more popular and more powerful "proxy" aspirants in this race who were actually eyeing this position solely to safeguard their prestigious family interest and "skeletons-in- the-closet" from the hyenas and the vultures waiting in the shadows to make their move, I say "you have over-estimated your importance". At least by standards set by "cash-rich" UMNO !

A gentleman Muhkriz was (and my favorite too), in graciously accepting his defeat and encouraging all to close ranks with the newly-elect, but I cannot say the same for the protesting scandal-ridden "botoxman' who is in the middle of yet another scam at the time of this posting.

Things are getting hot here in UMNO and tonight will we see more upsets or sparks fly ?

And all this while the Opposition is strategising, calculating, planning and waiting gleefully with bated breath, for the out-come of this UMNO elections before they go for the KILL come April 7th. 2009 because they already know MIC and MCA have become "irrelevant and a non-entity" and UMNO is an orphan who rides alone in the BN coalition, come these tri-by-elections !

Remember you heard it here first ! Cheers !

the cherry tree story....ala Malaysian

Legend has it that George Washington George Washington , America's first president, chopped down a cherry tree in his youth.
The story goes that George gives the tree a good swing and chops it down with an axe.

His father sees the damaged tree and asks his son if he knows who did the deed. George is quoted bravely admitting the truth:

'I can't tell a lie, Pa; you know I can't tell a lie. I did cut it with my axe.'

Below is a satire of how some Malaysian politicians circa 2008 may have reacted to the question:

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi Abdullah Ahmad Badawi - 'I did not cut down the tree , I was just taking a nap underneath it.'

Najib Razak Najib Razak -
'I swear that I have never MET that tree.'

Play it again Sammy !

Oh no....not again !

....Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu retained the MIC presidency for a record 11th consecutive term to the cheers of some 500 of the president's supporters.

Samy Vellu had obtained 572 nominations in all but 117 nominations were rejected for non-compliance with the party constitution and the presidential election by-laws.

Muthupalaniappan had 53 nominations but 48 were rejected for the same reasons

Samy Vellu, in his victory speech, reiterated that this was last presidential election and that he would hand over the top post to a leader "who is capable enough"..... (read the full story here)

Come on lah....give me a break man ! This dinosaur has hung on to this presidential post for so long and if he had any brains would step down with immediate effect !
MIC is but only a shell.....hollow on the inside and without substance !
The only thing bigger that his belly is his ego !

Does he not realise that MIC is DEAD with only 500 cheering branch heads ? Why is he so dumb ? He knows he is a liability and have been rejected by all Malaysians of Indian origins and yet he (and his twisted ego) thinks the people want him ! Just read Hindraf and Makkal Sakthi ! Both these 2 movements used to form the chunk or back-bone of what was once known as MIC.......today they have totally rejected MIC and as their names are still in the register, and the branch chairmen of all these "dummy branches" who have either voted or nominated him either by friendly threats or favors have actually boosted his already bloated belly and ego !

As far as he and his ego is concerned NOBODY is capable enough !

This man actually lives in Utopia !

MACC marching to the fore....

MACC has been hogging in most of the pages in all local stories daily here (see pages 1,2,3,4,6 and 7).....investigate this, investigate that, but I wonder if they have the man-power or the qualifications, as we are lead to believe, to carry fair and honest investigations....Hmmmm....well one thing for sure they have.....is speed ! Yes but surprisingly this "speed" is put in full motion only in limited cases, "they" deem fit !

KUANTAN (March 20, 2009):
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) said today they are not involved in investigations pertaining to political parties' ethics as a breach of discipline or ethics "is not criminal in nature".

Hello....Mr. chief commissioner, so any misdeeds like bribery and vote buying for "cash or favor" returns for votes within the party is not MACC's business, it that what you're saying ? Where do you come in then , pray tell ?

Its chief commissioner Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan said this when asked to comment on calls by opposition parties that the MACC investigate Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam who was barred from contesting in party elections after he was found guilty of money politics.

so now you're playing judge huh ?

"We welcome anyone who wants to make a report but we must be able to differentiate that a breach of party ethics and discipline is not criminal in nature," he said.

....again I say, pray tell us when is it "criminal-in-nature" ?

He said the MACC investigations director Datuk Shukri Abdullah was still awaiting reports if there were criminal elements in the case being acted on by the Umno Disciplinary Board recently.

...of course not ! Where got criminal elements huh ? No need to open file too !

On another matter, he said the MACC will record statements from several more Perak assemblymen pertaining to the suspension of Menteri Besar Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir and six executive council members from attending the state legislative assembly.

......ah yes...this you have to immediately investigate, yes ?....but of course ! Here the culprits ( in your own and assumed admission) are charges brought against your pay-masters, right ? So this warrants your immediate attention , sir !

Ahmad Said said their statements would be crucial to the investigations on the matter.

......and all other statements and allegations from the tax-paying rakyat or Opposition..... can drag your feet, right.

Asked whether the assemblymen were from the Barisan Nasional or the opposition pact, he said, "We will also call those from the BN if necessary."

...yeah rrrrigth...."we will ALSO call from the BN ( the catch-word) IF necessary" ..........otherwise "semuanya okay" lah !

He was speaking to reporters after attending the commission's event with the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, here today.

sir.....planning to go into politics, sir ?

Yesterday, the MACC recorded the statements of four members of the Perak rights and privileges committee, namely Loke Chee Yan (Kepayang assemblyman), Ong Boon Piow (Tebing Tinggi), Sum Cheok Leng (Bercham) and Chan Ming Kai (Simpang Pulai).

...anything worth mentioning sir ? Care to elaborate on the "criminal nature" involved here ?

Another committee member, Husin Din (Selinsing), was question by the MACC on March 17 while Speaker V. Sivakumar had his statement recorded on Feb 26.

giddyup....these are your prime targets, yes......go fry them ?

Asked on their statements, Ahmad Said said the process was to establish whether there were elements of abuse of power in the suspension of Zambry and his six executive council members.

....but of course, any fool can see the "abuse of power" in this suspension, right ?....only morons would think otherwise. ( read you and me ! )

"To us, there seem to be so, that is why we carry out the investigations in the first place," he said. -- Bernama

see I told you earlier, judging even before the investigations (he has ) "in the first place" seen the "abuse" ....just as long as you please your masters, boy, as long as you please your masters ! now down...down boyyyyy... that's a good dog !

Sheeesh !

Liar, liar....pants on fire !

"...Paari 46, also said he paid RM220,000 in cash for the condominium unit where Sujatha 28, had stayed and stood as a guarantor for a bank loan amounting to RM200,000. Paari added he also stood as a guarantor for a loan on the Mazda RX8 used by Sujatha...." (read Bernama's story here )

Hmmmm....come on all you men out there, tell me I am wrong if you'd so generously shower all these "gifts" and huge amounts of money on someone you're not even sleeping with and I'll show you either the biggest liar in the world or the biggest loser in the world or a gay ! hehehehe !

This CEO of the ailing Maika Holdings Bhd.
and also the son of MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, sure knows how to woo a lady ! Guess if where you lack in good-looks, at least there's money as substitution, yes ? Now you know where all that Maika money went !!

In my opinion this whole trial looks rigged and witnesses "fixed" from the word go. See there's also a couple of brothers in Australia whom he has sponsored !

I hereby now nominate Vell Paari for "CEO extraordinaire of the millennium" !

I really think all employers should emulate him for his "caring" habits and I also bet all his staff hang a photograph of him at home in their alter adorned with fresh garlands of jasmine daily !

Do you think he'd pay for my '2 months overdue' monthly installments on my 8 year old Kembara ?

Sheeesh....what a man.....a bleeding liar of a man.....go tell this story to the marines, boy !
Give me a break !

Tennis Court Oath (20-6-1789)

Today's free history lesson, courtesy of Wikipedia:

The Tennis Court Oath (French: serment du jeu de paume) was a pivotal event during the French Revolution. The Oath was a pledge signed by 576 out of the 577 members from the Third Estate and a few members of the First Estate during a meeting of the Estates-General of 20 June 1789 in a tennis court near the Palace of Versailles.

On 17 June 1789 this group, led by led by Mirabeau and Abbe Sieyes, began to call themselves the National Assembly,[1] which became the name of the primary French legislative body. On the morning of 20 June the deputies were shocked to discover that the doors to their chamber were locked and guarded by soldiers. Immediately fearing the worst and anxious that a royal coup by King Louis XVI was imminent, the deputies congregated in a nearby indoor real tennis court where they took a solemn collective oath "never to separate, and to meet wherever circumstances demand, until the constitution of the kingdom is established and affirmed on solid foundations."[2]

The deputies pledged to continue to meet until a constitution had been written, despite the royal prohibition. The oath was both a revolutionary act, and an assertion that political authority derived from the people and their representatives rather than from the monarch himself. Their solidarity forced Louis XVI to order the clergy and the nobility to join with the Third Estate in the National Assembly.[3]

"diwan bhasha and pustaka"

This morning has been a rather emotional one while I browsed through the various blogs and read a very private e-mail from a fellow Taipingite now residing overseas.

What got me thinking is the statement by this dashing son of the former premier, Mukhriz. Yes, what he spoke is very commendable and refreshing. God.... how I pray what he says is sincere !

Malaysia is a failed nation and everyone knows about the "failed unity" he is talking about. But what about the remedies and action plans he has and how far can he go to make that change ? Haven't we all been accused of being hypocrites just because we write in English and not in Malay ? Nobody knows that I can hold a decent conversation, let alone write in bahasa, pretty well, yes ? Just because I feel more comfortable expressing my views in English does not make me any less a Malaysian ! read just one of my posting back in January 2007- here

Funny how my friend NaSTyBob's timely email pointed out to me recently that even our supreme Dewan (Persian for "administration") Bahasa (Sanskrit for "language") dan Pustaka (Sanskrit for "book") is so so.... foreign. And what about UMNO....United Malay National Organisation ....in English too yes ? So there !

Nobody wants to talk of improving the deteriorating quality and standards of National Type Schools first, but everyone is in arms over vernacular education ! Why ? Should we not all be proud of our respective mother tongues and not be labelled as traitors ??

The previous government of 22 years and during Anwar's tenure in BN screwed the system first. Then the modification and spins in our history books created further screws to mould a nation into thinking (not allowing "reasonable" thinking ) that some were lesser beings. Then the systematic segregation of the various races (in asramas) and religious bigots penetrated the education syllabus, replacing civics and moral studies that was for all irrespective of race during my time in the 60's and early 70's was put into motion !! Then came the quota system !

By then we were, as a multi-cultural nation- totally fcuked ! It seemed then, as what the older generation perceived, the best education was to go back to their vernacular schools that were still aplenty ! With added ignorance by certain factions of the population and no thanks to the
politicians, who were supposedly deemed superior then others, the racial divide grew and the emergence of racists abounded in our society !

Now comes this hopeful son of the former premier to breath some fresh air into an already failed nation ! First he must stop this Malay and non-Malay talk.
Talk and refer all as MALAYSIANS ! Then start civics and moral classes from Std One ! Dump the quota system and qualifications for admission to higher learning universities and employment is by merit ONLY ! Leave religious classes be lessons taught after school and in suraus, temples and churches during week-ends ! Back in my days they did a wonderful job there in shaping model citizens, (when in the evenings after all the playing and a bath, you can see kids walking....mind you walking in groups because everyone was poor and without having to fear arse-hole bandits, snatch-thieves or kidnappers) respecting each and every of his fellow neighbours ! Can Mukhriz rock the boat or stir the hornet's nest of all those in such comfortable and superior zones ???

This has to be addressed first (the education system) before we can even talk about leaders of any race in the highest position, serving our nation....everyone as one- Malaysians ! Then Mukhriz, you have my vote !
I, in the meantime remain, an anak bangsa Malaysia !

Now I need to go for a roken (that's Dutch for rokok, stupid...to smoke !)
Have a good "thinking" weekend !

and the "broom" award goes to.....

RM1.2 million expenses by Balkis members questioned
by Karen Arukesamy

SHAH ALAM (March 11, 2009) : Permodalan Negri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) records show the company spent RM1.2 million in travelling expenses for members of Wives of Selangor Assemblymen and MPs Welfare and Charity Organisation (Balkis) throughout 2007.

aiyaaa...so little only ahhh.... !

“There was a ‘technical’ visit to Disneyland, Tokyo by the members of the Balkis. What kind of ‘technical’ visit is this?” asked Azmin Ali (PKR-Bukit Antarabangsa) during his debate on the Sultan’s address at the Selagor state legislative assembly today.

Belajar sambil Pelancong lah !

“This ‘technical’ visit did not end at Disneyland, because Mickey Mouse had ran away, so they had another two ‘technical’ visits -- Hongkong and Korea,” said Azmin who called for an explanation of the visit and a report on the outcome, if it brought any benefit to the state.

Yes...alot can be learnt in Disneyland man...especially so for the accompanying kids ? But what can they do ? Hubbies always busy monkeying in parliament.....no time to take kids to zoo also !

“Maybe (they) want to bring Disneyland to Sg Panjang (former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamed Khir Toyo’s constituency). I do not know; please explain,” he said, gesturing towards the opposition bench.

...Toyo sheepishly explains..."ya, Tuan Speaker, "semuanya okay" ! We can actually have our own Disneyland la.....just like the "Eye of London" and then let it go to rot ! As long as contracts are awarded to UMNO, okay ?

Deputy Speaker Aniza Talha remarked that they (opposition assemblymen) are not Balkis members, to which Azmin retorted: “They are not Balkis members but they sleep with Balkis (members).”

Whoooowie....let me get this straight. Pray tell me who else is sleeping with who, other then my good and holy PM ?? Any juicy stories here ?

Azmin also revealed that Balkis had received a large contribution/allocation, supposedly for welfare, but according to the information received, it was used by the members for their clothing and accessories.

Ahhh....shopping, the favorite pastime for rich and bored house-wives in those swanky department stores in London, Paris, Tokyo and New York, yes ? But never in Malaysia ! Too "local" and much fake goods sold here la, yes ?

“We cannot allow such robbers to roam in Selangor anymore and they use institutions like the attorney general’s office, the police and Election Commission (EC) to continue threatening us,” he said.

Azmin....that's putting it very lightly ! semuanya okay what, in Negeri Selangor !

Azmin also revealed how the tax payers’ money was misused by “irresponsible” officers in what is now called Selangor State Development Office (previously Unit Perancang Ekonomi Negri Selangor) which had held discussions on how to overthrow the present Pakatan Rakyat (PR) state administration and return power to the Barisan Nasional (BN).

Sure, why did you think these bandits will give-up without a fight ? You're messing with their "rice-bowl" man ! Sheeesh ! and there's "money" in UMNO ! Didn't you know ? Ask the gate-keeper....ooops....ask his children then !

He said on Feb 6, 2009, the first task on the list at the Jawatankuasa Kerja Tindakan Persekutuan Negri’s meeting discussed how BN could wrest the state back from PR at the next general election. Second on the agenda was how to sustain the reign of the BN federal government.

But this has always been the agenda....nothing else since March 8th. 2008 ! Tell me something new, boy !

“This proves how desperate the federal government is to bring down the PR government,” he said.

Give Toyol the broom Azmin. The "tokoh sapu" award ! So he can sweep the shit under the carpet before it hits the fan !

“People of Selangor pay tax for the development of the state and not for Umno and BN,” he added.

...everything "taxed" is for UMNO ...where have you been, boy ?

He also questioned the presence of members irrelevant to the development of the state like National Security Council (NSC) and the EC. “What is the connection between NSC and EC and the state’s development?” he said.

Nothing ! but who cares anyway huh ?....Stop stirring the shit boy !

“We have exposed many things yet all they can see are the ‘cows’. Why should we feel ashamed of meeting under the tree when they are not ashamed of robbing the people of their rights?” Azmin said.

Yeah right ! big deal.....you want to question BN or UMNO , Azmin ? You feeling suicidal man ? They are untouchables.......no one can question them and they have a "divine" immunity from prosecution. So go and make your report to the AG and the MACC or even the police and see if any action is taken for any of your "baseless" allegations !

Hahahaha !

This is Malaysia ma !

Pak Lah's flip & Anwar's flop !

To commemorate 1 year since the March 8th. 2008 election victory of 5 ...errhhh or is it 4 states, a portion of the Opposition Coalition took to the streets yesterday afternoon to protest the usage of English for math and science in the education system ! Who is to be blamed for this demonstration ? The government of the day or the Opposition ? Was it the "failed" education system in grooming Malaysians to face the world with English as a medium or the Oppositions take on "going glocal" armed with Bahasa Malaysia only ? I would say I blame the police !
Now if only the police had cordoned-off the streets ( like in all civilised nations in the first world !) for a clear passage to the palace the marchers would have walked straight from the Masjid Negara and delivered their memo of grouses to a palace representative and would have dispersed quietly and quickly, right ?

The protesters gathered here in front of the Holy Rosary Church in Brickfields when I caught up with them through a crazy traffic jam, camera ready and after being chased by the police before the the demonstrators tried to reach the king's palace, firing tear gas, the wary crowd then decided to stage a "sit-in" right in the middle of the road.

Personally I do not support the abolishment of English in any subject, and as we can now see the deploring standards even by graduates, who have a major problem understanding and communicating in English with the rest of the world ! BUT I will not deny them the right to protest ! If only this crowd was actually protesting for the abolishment of the ISA.....now that would be a valid and clear cause, right ?..... but alas....the leaders have other plans !
Now let me give a lesson in English on "half nakedness" for the benefit of that moron in Padang Terap PAS MP Mohd Nasir Zakaria who was supposedly shocked by students exposing "naked flesh" by wearing bare-backs or summer dresses in a USM function recently ( here) ...... hmmmm......now while these ladies below are fully clothed !
Using the navel as a mid-point, anyone without a shred of cloth above the navel, would be "half- naked" or topless, yes ?....see the famous man, below ? ...and one without a shred of cloth below the navel will be also "half naked" or bottomless, right !
...now these wonderful girls below are neither "half-naked" nor "immorally nude", dude ! These are a bunch of women and a beautiful creation of God, men the world over would die for and I too, would love to feast my eyes on. There's nothing immoral or obscenely wrong with that ! The bikini is a universally accepted attire...at least on the beach ! So now Mohd Nasir Zakaria of Padang Terap...while you salivate drooling at these girls' "exposed flesh", go clean your rotten head and keep your narrow-minded sexual frustrations to yourself ! Sheeesh ! Where did you evolve from ? This is 2009 man !.... and you are still struck in the Dark Ages ?

So now you see the importance of the English language ? When "respectable" but narrow-minded elected representatives shoot their mouth off in "broken" English without fully understanding or having a good command of the language, they get their arse fried by all broad-minded and matured English and Bahasa Malaysia speaking members of civil society securing the future of their children to face the world ! Like I said before, while I beg to differ on the "cause" ( of using Bahasa Malaysia in schools for math and science) in the demonstration yesterday afternoon, I would still support their right to peaceful assembly and protests !

"Happy 1 year since the 'tsunami' to all rakyat of civil society" ! Cheers !

...all hail the Queen !

QC likely to be Lord Lester - link 1
& link 2
By SHAILA KOSHY

Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir and his six exco members have several high profile Queen’s Counsel to choose from for a second opinion on their situation.

The three names bandied about in legal circles here as the possible QC who has been approached are Geoffrey Robertson, Michael Beloff and Lord Lester( pic ) of Herne Hill.

Yesterday, The Star reported that lawyers for Dr Zambry and the six Exco members were seeking a second opinion from a QC in London. (....click on the 2 links above for the full story)

I am told this "MB-in-limbo" Zambry has denied any knowledge to the above reports which appeared on the 23 and 24 February 2009 in the Star. Surely then he must sue the Star for such lies printed if he is to maintain his innocence, right ? But what I am more interested is the out-come of such an expensive expedition to seek the Queen's Council's opinion on local matters ! Were they "shooed off" or was there no case to pursue on legal grounds ?

If I remember correctly the last time when someone went to see the queen, he was condemned to high heaven for running to the English for help and not consulting the courts here in Malaysia. So how now with UMNO doing the "unthinkable "?

Sheeesh.......not shy meh ??

...can't see the forest for the raintrees ?

Will everybody, who have no business meddling in the affairs of Perak, stop raping my beloved silver state, please and let only Perakians decide once and for all who should lead them !

I come from Pokok Assam (meaning tamarind tree !), Taiping, Perak and will always be a Taiping lang (i.e. before I moved to the big city back '79) !

I demand an immediate dissolution of the state government and to let fresh state-wide elections take place. I implore the wise HRH Sultan Azlan Shah to put his royal foot down and to let his rakyat decide once and for all who should administer his precious state !

This is all so embarrassing and shameful to us Perakians, as word has got out to the whole world, yes the whole world, trust me, because if you "google" for raintree today, you'd see many references to this historical sitting...errhh standing, and are curiously following the out-come of events whilst having a good laugh too ! But I am NOT ! I am disgusted in the lack of understanding and fair-play and gross Federal Government and unwarranted police interference !

And yes too, for the first time in history, a "state assembly sitting" was held democratically "standing", lead by an "ousted" State Speaker in full regalia, barred by the police who have their reputation deep in the cess-pool....under the now famous raintree !

And don't let me start telling you of the many grand raintrees that line so majestically, with it's beautiful canopy of branches arching over the roads and into lakes, all along the famous Lake Gardens of Taiping, the former capital of Perak. My state !

So all you buzzards, go scavenge on something else and Your Majesty give Perak back to the Perakians ! Kapish ?
