The price to pay for singing the national anthem

RM10,000 or a 1 year jail term or both. Yes, that's the price one pays for singing the national anthem whilst holding a "dangerous" lit candle back in 2008. The man of my posting here is a "man of the cloth". A Catholic priest to be more precise. Reverend Father Paulino Miranda of the Divine Mercy church. (read here and here )

This man is refusing to "if and when" charged guilty for standing with a crowd holding a lit candle and singing the national anthem, to pay the fine...heck, he does not even get a pay-check at the end of every month like you, and will rather choose the jail term and in his own words...“Paying the fine would be conceding that what I did was wrong,”

Has this country gone nuts ? If and when that happens, Najib would surely be "summoned" to not only Paris but also to Rome, to explain to the Pope for such outrageous verdict for one of his charges....and at the same time Malaysia will face the wrath of all Christians in Malaysia and of the civilised world.

Walking on very very thin ice seem to be the name of the game for BN and with meanwhile morons like this frustrated idiot adding to the fray. BN will surely be history after the 13th. GE.

Pay heed to the voices of the rakyat, dear Mr. PM. Don't screw it up like everything else !
Just wondering, what if there was also an imam involved in the candle light virgil. What would be the court's verdict be then ?

Recently arrived immigrants from Indonesia who never had a share in our struggle for Merdeka have been designated as native sons and daughters, Bumiputras and accorded a range of exclusive privileges and benefits denied us who in effect have been relegated to 2nd class citizenship. Another ridiculous thing is that 60,000 illegal immigrants from Thailand have been given citizenship papers and are now classified as Bumiputras. Why? Citizens who are not MALAYS -- the term has no precise meaning. For example, the Iskandar Kuttys from Kerala and the Mericans from Tamil Nadu also claim to be ethnic Malays -- have to work their butts off so that the economic parasites i.e. UMNO free loaders and rent collectors can have a good time? The situation is so absurd and unfair that concerned NGO's must bring the case to the International Court of Justice for arbitration.

My congrats Aireen Omar the newly appointed CEO of Air Asia, Malaysia... It is people like her who drive and energize the economy. If the PSD scholarship selection process were like this there won't be an exodus of Malaysian talent to Singapore and Australia. Unfortunately it is not. Some years ago the Examination Syndicate tricked a Malay girl of less than average intelligence into accepting 17 A1's and being designated as the most talented SPM student. She was featured on prime time TV and even taken on road show during which she proudly shared her high scoring exam stratagems with other students. The girl was sent to Scotland to do a degree in medicine and though she failed the initial exams, she is nevertheless living it up ... like the MARA students who used a large part of their scholarship funds to buy cell phones when those devices were still a novelty.

“The Limit of this obligation to obedience [to the civil government] will be found only when we are commanded to do something contrary to the to the superior authority of God (Acts iv. 19; v. 29); or when the civil government has become so radically and incurably corrupt that it has ceased to accomplish the ends for which it was established. When that point has unquestionably been reached, when all means of redress have been exhausted without avail, when there appears no prospect of securing reform in the government itself, and some good prospect of securing it by revolution, then it is the privilege and duty of a Christian people to change their government - peacefully if they may, forcibly if they must.” ## Archibald Alexander Hodge (July 18, 1823 – November 12, 1886), American Presbyterian leader,

OPEN LETTER TO TEACHER SABARIAH RAMLI, SMK GEORGETOWN, BATU LANCHANG, PULAU PINANG

Puan Sabariah Ramli,
Salam sejahtera. Semoga segala impian Puan dapat dikabulkan dengan kejayaan cemerlang.

I am deeply hurt and disappointed that you have insulted Indian students in your class by denouncing them as Hindu Pariah. Now, as a teacher you are expected to respect the religious sensitivities of your pupils. How would you feel if I called you a Muslim Pariah?

However Hindu men in Malaysia subscribe to a higher moral code than Malay men. Let me explain. Nearly all cases of incestuous rape occurring in Malaysia -- i.e. men raping their own natural daughters -- are committed by Malay males. Recently it was reported that a Malay Muslim soldier from Malacca had sex with all of his three daughters over a protracted period of time. I am sure you will agree with me that even an orangutan would not commit such a despicable act.... His lawyer pleading for leniency told the judge that his client was a distinguished soldier, one who had also been decorated for bravery!

Nearly all the schoolgirls who participate in wanton sex and then abandon the resulting babies in the lobbies of supermarkets, at street corners or on rubbish dumps are also Malays. The situation has become so bad that the Menteri Besar of Malacca hastily pushed through a bill in the DUNM legalizing marriage of very young Muslim females. On 07.10.2000 bus driver Hanafi Mat Hassan raped and strangled to death computer engineer Noor Suzaily Mukhtar, 24. At the time of the incident this abominable Pariah was already married to three women. The implications of the above for you are quite obvious. You may need to wear a chastity belt (belt bertahan maruah) every time you venture out of your home. A picture of such a device is included here for your ready reference.

Greetings. May your lives sparkle with blessings, opportunities and smiles

According to author Barry Wain, RM100 billion was squandered or stolen from the nation during the administration of Mahathir Mohammed, 1981 2003 (Malaysian Maverick: Mahathir Mohamad in Turbulent Times) Unfortunately this wholesale embezzlement of the People's wealth continues unabated. Mahathir and his sons are extremely rich and we the ordinary citizens of Malaysia are puzzled as to how they could have legitimately accumulated so much wealth.

Photos of Mohamad Nedim Mohd Nazri Aziz the son Federal Cabinet Minister Nazri cavorting with semi naked women (khalwat) and drinking what appears to be alcohol (haram) have been posted on the internet but he has not been investigated to date. Some years ago the President of the Kuala Lumpur Taxi Drivers' Association alleged that the Minister was the recipient of a huge number of taxi permits. In Malaysia those who own taxi permits rent them out and the taxi driver has to pay them between RM45 -- RM80 daily --- like absentee landlords collecting rent from slum dwellers. Thus it is not surprising that many in the Regime and their hangers on are also economic parasites --- i.e. free loaders and rent collectors, receiving money while not doing any gainful work... The Opposition has pledged that when they form the federal government, they will make it a condition that only those who actually drive the taxis may get the permits.

Defence officials have received mind boggling amounts of money in kickbacks for closing the infamous Scorpene Submarine deal. A Mongolian translator, Altantuya who helped them negotiate the deal was murdered in cold blood by two of Prime Minister Najib's bodyguards. They blew up her body with C4 explosives after murdering her. The reason is obvious. She was pregnant, apparently carrying the child of a very high defence official. The crook did not want any trace of the DNA to remain -- on the chance that it could be used to establish paternity. An NGO, SUARAM (campaigning for transparency and good governance) is pursuing the kickbacks case in the French courts.

Readers of the online portal Malaysiakini in their comments to its open forum have not hesitated to describe leading members of the regime and their cronies as, crooks, swindlers and embezzlers. Like Hosni Mubarak and Gadaffi, these parasites have found safe institutions overseas for their ill-gotten wealth. Using proxies. shell companies and off shore banking facilities they have concealed the paper trail.

Many citizens especially the real natives of Malaysia, the native peoples of the Borneo states of Sabah and Sarawak, the Orang Asli and ethnic Indian citizens live under the poverty line while these economic parasites drive international marques, dine sumptuously and smoke Havana cigars.

We appeal to you to lend us your expertise to help us uncover their hidden wealth so that the People of Malaysia may rightly take possession of it.

Thank you and regards.

commenting on PM Najib's "PM tells Chinese to ignore 'pendatang' remarks, Malayasiakini, 24.06.2012

Mumbling vague regrets about the epithet 'Pendatang' which the fascist ultras use to describe the Chinese and other minorities or conveniently blaming it on a supposedly lunatic fringe group does not address the grievous injustices to which we minorities are subject. You have to admit it, racism/fascism is institutionalized here. What is ironic about it is that newly arrived immigrants from Indonesia who are classified as Bumiputras and given a range of exclusive privileges and benefits but who never had a share in our struggle for Merdeka also use the epithet Pendatang to refer to us ethnic Chinese and Indian citizens who can trace our domicile in the country to several generations before the arrival of these instant natives. In a word, the absurd division of Malaysian society into Bumis and non Bumis must be abolished immediately.. But does the man whose has accumulated his wealth from kickbacks and illicit commissions have the moral principles to do the right thing. I doubt it.

Your Excellency,
Greetings. May your life sparkle with blessings, opportunities and smiles.

The articles appended below are self explanatory. The charge against Rev Fr Miranda seems vindictive. We do not think that the Attorney General Abdul Gani Patail applies the Law consistently i.e. John Adams principle, A government of laws, not of men has no currency in Malaysia. Some years ago respected lawyer, Mr Manjeet Singh presented a notarized document at the High Court in Kuala Lumpur stating that Gani --- he was then a senior government counsel --- had attempted to suborn his client into fabricating evidence of gross sexual misconduct against Mr Anwar Ibrahim, a former Deputy Prime Minister.

In the circumstances we appeal to Your Excellency to use your good offices to secure justice for Fr Miranda.

Thank you

sincerely
