young and lovely Kelly (hmmmm....in shorts again !) of Wangsamaju for Malaysia says it all loud and clear.....
the "mover and shaker" Haris took the mike and invited all present to observe a minute's silence for the lives lost in the terror attacks in Mumbai this week.....
it's all about listening to testimonies of simple and everyday people's plight and frustration of the system as we had.....
Norlaila Othman with son Suhaib, wife of Mat Sah Mohd Satray Isa, who has been languishing in the Kamunting Detention Camp in Taiping, for the past 7 years without a trial and a future in limbo ! Hers was a heart wrenching story of how she still keeps her husband's clothes that he wore on the day he was arrested under the ISA and her only child/son who cannot comprehend the workings of a corrupt government which uses laws with no relevance or semblance to civil society in this age and time.....sigh !
does this look like a crowd who would be a threat to national security...I ask you ??

another speaker, who requested anonymity, relates the physical abuse she endured at a pro-ISA rally by "mat rempits" aka UNMO youths....
somebody said her name was Angiesan or is it ?...... and she spoke from her heart....
....and the ever charming "flyer"Lokeman took flight on the stage with his piece for the many reasons why we must abolish the dreaded ISA....
