...let the show begin..... in Bagan Pinang this time !

Well....here we go again folks....and the PR machinery seem not to waste time and have taken to the road when they fired the first salvo with a "ceramah perdana" 2 nights ago on the 16-9-2009, again coinciding with "Hari Malaysia" with a modest gathering at Kampung Si Rusa on the 4th. mile in Port Dickson to gain a leg-up in the run-up to the Bagan Pinang by-election fixed for the 11th. October 2009 ! This is going to be a very tough battle for the PR and surely the only chance for BN to actually claim victory....as the old saying goes... "a walk in the park" !

But hey folks, this is Malaysia and the year is 2009. People have gotten more it-savvy and educated. Nobody's going to take the rakyat for a "walk in the park".....remember performance now, people first ! BN cannot repeat a "Permatang Pasir" choice of candidate and cannot bank on the many "soldier votes".....not anymore folks, cos the costs of essential goods have hit the roof and only a select few are lapping in wealth. The ordinary citizens are all fully aware of the economic doldrums we are stuck in daily, and mouths have to be fed. So listen carefully folks and vote wisely ! Okay ?

Here are some pics. of the simple folks of Bagan Pinang hungry for any news ....any good news that may renew their faith in a government they trusted and a hope for a better tomorrow.

..... a section of the crowd at the beginning around 9:30pm.....as I made my way through the slowly growing crowd....I'd give the final turn-out in the region of say 1,300....but hey....don't take my word for it, it could be 300 !

I wondered if these kids knew what was going on....but they sat there attentively all evening long.....

and on the stage was ........

just look at the very mixed crowd....any cow-head or beer issues here ?...think not !

....the MP for Seremban, Anthony something.... took to the mike.....and spoke in fluent Bahasa...so then....

....this gentleman surely looked like a foreigner, probably married to the lady on his right and sitting comfortably cross-legged on the dry grass....did he understand a word ? Bahasa was spoken through-out the evening....or I could be very wrong, yes ?

.... or do these people look like they are having a "jolly good" time ? The lady in focus looks like she wished the world would end tomorrow.

.....then Dr. Hatta Ramli took to the mike....was not sure if he was talking of ISA or the "vote-buying" MB Isa .....but he had their attention.....so to speak !

and got the attention of this crowd who came to listen, yes....just listen to what the PR boys had to say.....on national policies affecting their ordinary and miserable lives. Remember folks this is a BN stronghold and it'll take the PR more then just campaigning rhetoric's to win ! No kidding and no bullshitting !!!

...and this men came to officially deliver an envelope full of membership forms to Anwar.....probably en bloc from an MIC division....and maybe have had enough of Samy breaking out in songs everytime he thought he won ! Now these are the people Anwar should be wary off, right ? Haven't we seen enough of "frogs" or "plants" ? Read that moron Hassan Ali or that Bar Council bombardier Zul ? They bring in their old shit into PR and after getting comfy, they'll start crapping like they used to do in their old regime, yes ? And Anwar has a tendency to attract these types ! So be warned where they're positioned Anwar...if you know "what's good for gander may not be so good for the geese" afterall !

...this group of SB's (special bunch) that had to leave the celebration at the ABM house early just to be here at the ceramah in the "blue blitz".....to listen to this man feature below, taking on the might of the BN and at the same time expressing confidence if the fight was fair and transparent.....particularly the 5,000 odd postal votes or one-third of the electorate in this next by-election.....sigh...!

There you have it folks....the first of many ceramahs has kicked-off while the ever mighty BN is busy toying with the number 1....curiously Malaysians have a penchant for the number ONE....1Malaysia, F1, H1N1 and a host of other No.1's....read my earlier postings nearly 3 years ago here and here for a good "week-end" humour !
