Najib's faux pas today was the rakyat's victory. What was first intended to contain a group of people in yellow tees in a "padang" back-fired into a sea of yellow all over the city. Clearly the people won today as hundreds of thousands of citizens took to the streets of Kuala Lumpur chanting "Bersih...Bersih...Bersih" while tourists looked on in amusement to take back their versions of the Yellow March or Bersih 3 in Kuala Lumpur to relate to their friends and families back home. I won't comment on the numbers but today's march was certainly the biggest I'd ever seen here.
And the rakyat were awesome and overwhelming with the Unit Amal boys did a splendid job lending their expertise in crowd control. Kudos to the Unit Amal boys and cheers to all who were there as Malaysians and as one in unity !
