Datuk Nicol David.....Yes !! (part 2)

Sometime in November of 2006 I posted an article in this here blog about an award for this young lass ( read here ) and today, 1 year and 8 months later that posting is realised ! (read here ) Yes, way to go..... Datuk Nicol David !

I've been fortunate enough for the rare opportunity to once talk to her in person back in early 2000 at the club and predicted about her one day becoming the world No. 1, and jokingly quipped that she should come back to thank me for the confidence I had on her........well, she did become world champion, but alas...she never came back to thank me.....sigh !

Never mind that, as I am fully aware of her tight schedules between focusing on gruelling practises and the little time she has left to spend with her near and dear ones !

As I read the list of recipients and she, at 25, being the youngest ever, is truly deserving of such an accolade bestowed on her ! Nicol David , Malaysia is proud of you and you have made a difference to us all and made your parents absolutely proud ! Good girl !
Congratulations, Cheers and Godbless Datuk Nicol David !!!

just another day in paradise !

Now folks, I did not laugh as I read this story in the Star on-line version today ! And I bet you my hard earned ringgit, the IGP is going to come out with his usual line of "one rotten apple don't make the whole barrel bad" excuse ! I cringed !

For God's sake.......the entire police station in Gemas ?? Heads must literally "roll" now Mr. IGP, and I hold you to blame entirely if nothing is done, you Mr. IGP you, who would not hesitate to deprive innocent and harmless law-abiding and tax-paying citizens to gather peacefully in our own country in protest of the deplorable state of affairs affecting the nation, while your men practically rape and plunder the "rakyat" blind ! May I suggest you stay out of politics, sir ? Restore my faith in your noble force, sir !

Sheeesh.....I wonder too how these same government "servants-in-blue" swear their allegiance to serve His Majesty, up-hold the laws and protect the citizens, during their oath-of-office in their passing-out parade......is this not "high treason" towards my King and country ??

For the benefit of all law-abiding citizens, who need to vent their frustration and comment their displeasure on-line, I reproduce the Star's article in verbatim below;

Cop vs cops in Gemas station

By SARBAN SINGH

GEMAS: A policeman has lodged a report against all his colleagues including his superiors allegedly over dissatisfaction on how the monthly bribes from those operating illegal activities was being distributed.

In retaliation, one of his superiors, a sergeant, lodged another police report against the policeman, a lance corporal, for allegedly selling station property to scrap dealers.

A source said the lance corporal, in his 40s, was dissatisfied with his superiors for allegedly taking the lion’s share of the bribes while the rank and file received very little.

“In fact, the complainant claimed that he did not get a sen,” the source said.

The report was lodged earlier this week.

The sergeant, in an apparent tit-for-tat, lodged another report against the lance corporal alleging that he had sold some old wooden and iron furniture from the police station to a dealer.

“His colleagues even know where the dealer is operating from,” the source said.

State police chief Datuk Osman Salleh confirmed that a report has been lodged.

“We are investigating the claims made by the lance corporal. We do not want to make conclusions straightaway as the allegations are serious,” he said.

He said all the policemen were still on duty and have not been asked to go on leave.

He said action would be taken against his men if the claims were true.

It is understood that the Anti-Corruption Agency has also started a probe.

Sleep well Mr. IGP....while Nurin's killers is/are still walking free, Nini and Asmawi are still missing, while the mat rempits are still having "easy-pickings" on helpless victims and a host of other heinous crimes are on the up and up...............goodnight !

moros !

Moron was originally an English scientific term, coined in 1910 by psychologist Henry H. Goddard from the Greek word moros, which meant "dull" (as opposed to "sharp"), and used to describe a person with a mental age located between 8 and 12 on the Binet scale. It was once applied to people with an IQ of 51-70, being superior in one degree to "imbecile" (IQ of 26-50) and superior in two degrees to "idiot" (IQ of 0-25). The word moron, along with others including "retarded", "idiotic", "imbecilic", "stupid", and "feeble-minded", was formerly considered a valid descriptor in the psychological community, though these words have all now passed into common slang use, exclusively in a derogatory context.

(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Well you might be wondering why this education above for is.....right ? Well, folks sometimes I am dumbfounded to a point of being incapable of original lines......so you see, less said about it the better for my b/p ! So in relation to the definitions above of a "thousand words" I present you with one picture below that befits all of those words above !!

(btw folks do I really have to put a name to the picture ???..... nawh !!)

Have a fabulous week-end dear fellow Malaysians ! Godbless and Cheers !

we are being "buggered" too !

Correct me if I am wrong, folks, but is not the Armed Forces under the patronage and behest of His Majesty the King ? And it certainly worries me to know that the IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan can make such a purported declaration .( read here )

Somehow I sense a veiled threat to the "rakyat" once again even before anything happens...or do the police ( our super-guardians of implementing the laws, created by Parliament, to keep safe the citizens of this here country !!) know something IS indeed brewing in the political front in this beloved Malaysia of ours ?

Mr. IGP, don't do this to innocent tax-paying and already frustrated citizens, please ! The "temper-escalating" cost of everything from food to fuel is taking a drastic toll on the meek man-on-the-street already........do we need to be chided further by such insolent warnings ??

God have mercy on us all ! Daulat Tuanku !!

Rogue's Gallery- my latest qualifier !

Hamidah Osman-DUN Sg. Rapat

Hamidah Osman (BN-Sungai Rapat) particularly earned the wrath of the Pakatan Rakyat assemblymen when she asked whether Perak State assembly Speaker V. Sivakumar “agreed to disagree” with the well-known fable of whether a snake or a man from a certain racial community should be killed first. (Star-Saturday 28 June 2008)
So this is the kind of BN leaders we have to lead us huh ?.....what was uttered can be retracted in the state assembly "dewan" but can it be erased from the minds of everyone who reads this ?? Racial remarks has become second nature to frustrated "losers"....right ?
Let's face it.... this is despicable language for any religiously "attired" and steadfast leader of any community !

The pain of a slap on the cheek would have eased by now....but these words..... ????? Sheeeesh !
Hamidah Osman you've made it to my "rogue's gallery" instantly !

Shame on you....Hamidah Osman and the "people of a certain race" in Sungei Rapat have been insulted of their intelligence in voting you in ! You're soaking and reeking of bigotry ! Is this what you teach your children, your family and is this what you have learnt in the "university of your pathetic life " ?

Hope you sleep well everyday from today, for the rest of your "slithery" life !

If you have no respect for life and all of God's creation, irrespective of specie(even a snake!), you are NOTHING-period !!

Are we beyond redemption ?

I feel terribly insulted to read this story of a poll carried out by the "Expat" magazine regarding the deploring state of one of our nations' front-liners....TAXI-DRIVERS ! read here for the full story and comments.

Now if only the powers-that-be had listened to the rakyat or had read my blog first back in September 2006 and again recently about 2 weeks ago and also in numerous other blogs ! Sigh......... read here and here !

Do we need to be shamed for our "short-comings" by foreigners and in a poll too ?? What would take the authorities to listen to the pleading voices of the simple man-in-the-street ??

Let's not get defensive but do the pro-active (this word has been generously used for all the wrong reasons !) thinggy and prove to these "expats" we can indeed change and bring to book by educating this disgraceful profession called taxi-services and their taxi-drivers
and redeem the faith of the "expats" in Malaysia !!

what 100 days you talkin' bout....?

What percentage is 100 days of 18,250 days ?? You tell me ? With all these demands on the "performance" reports of the newly formed coalition of 100 days being questioned by certainly the past state government's ousted and frustrated hecklers, it is sad, when little or nothing was demanded off, of them all this 50 odd years or 18,250 days or so then....right ??

Do we also question the "hijacked" memorandum by the "advisor" of PKR when it was endorsed by all six parties in February 2008 for failing to absolutely, without fear or favor, up-hold the "Peoples' Parliament's" initiatives to the tee, the "Piagam Rakyat" proposal ? I was there ! (click here)

Am I surprised, PAS, a co-signor (represented by Dr. Siti Maria) of the "People's Declaration" has so soon started to show their natural and "idiotic" colors in the recent protest of "entertainers" in Selangor, then when chided by the rest of the coalition, decided to withdraw their threats ? What happened to a Malaysia for ALL Malaysians ? Are they such hypocrites ??

But the Barisan Rakyat or is it Pakatan Rakyat are only in office for 100 days now, you might argue.... okay, granted, for some came into their new offices, practically devoid of files, cunningly "shredded-out" by the then out-going state government, in a desperate last minute bid to leave no evidence of all and any malpractices during their 18,250 day tenure !

It is tire-some and time consuming to re-construct entire files, especially with alot of insubordination from some still "die-hard" personnel, warped in allegiance to the past or with much "vested interest" that by only being uncooperative, saves the hides of these subjects, the full brunt of such a "discovery", right ?

So maybe, just maybe, we should just back-off a little and give the "new" state governments some more space and time before being unreasonably demanding, with the exception of moronic, bigotted and fundamentalists' beliefs and views, okay ?

After all what is 100 as compared to 18,250 huh ?

So That Is Politics !

My dear friend John W. sent me this and me thinks is a classic "education" in everyday politics !!! So here goes, enjoy... and thank you John.

So That Is Politics

A son asks his father, "What can you tell me about politics? I have to learn about it for school tomorrow." The father thinks a little and says, "OK, son, the best way I can describe politics is to use an analogy. Let's say that I'm a capitalist because I'm the breadwinner. Your mother will be the government because she controls everything, our maid will be the working class because she works for us, you will be the people because you answer to us, and your baby brother will be the future. Does that help any?" The little boy said, "Well, Dad, I don't know, but I'll think about what you said."

Later that night, after everyone had gone to bed, the little boy was awaken by his baby brother's crying. Upon further investigation, he found a dirty diaper. So, he went down the hall to his parent's bedroom and found his father's side of the bed empty and his mother wouldn't wake up. Then he saw a light on in the guest room down the hall, and when he reached the door, he saw through the crack that his father was in bed with the maid. The son then turned and went back to bed.

The next morning, he said to his father at the breakfast table, "Dad, I think I understand politics much better now." "Excellent, my boy," he answered, "What have you learned?" The little boy thought for a minute and said, "I learned that capitalism is screwing the working class, while the government is sound asleep ignoring the people, and the future's so full of crap."

Syabas Tan Sri !

Now... this man I like....yes, that is if he holds true his words, to clean-up the disgraceful state of affairs in our sports we were all once proud off !

Malaysian Hockey Federation (MHF) president Tan Sri Anwar Mohd Nor said “If there is the slightest truth in any of this, I will sack the whole lot... never mind if we don’t have a national team and we need to start from scratch. This is not our culture (budaya).......... (click here
for the full text)

Way to go Tan Sri......I will "sokong" that motion ! For far too long we have been hood-winked by these goons who alternate as players or/and officials and who think they are indispensable and God-sent to our sports of field hockey ! But as far as I am concerned they are nothing but "juara kampongs" with no pride and living-off the wrath of the tax-paying citizens ! Now they want to be entrepreneurs ?? How many games have they "sold" for profits, huh ??

It is appalling indeed and now we know why we are still stuck in this dire straits for so long while as far as the sports go, third world countries, once minnows and as poor as they may be and with barest of fancy equipment and sporting facilities, have surpassed us in terms of dexterity, quality, skillfulness and accomplishments ! For an in-depth study on field hockey go here and here !

Do the nation justice Tan Sri and walk the talk now ! Malaysia is right behind you, and so am I !
Cheers !

from blissed to pissed !

It was an almost perfect "expedition" that I was part off, from the 12th.-15th. June in Sabah and I was enjoying every minute there, that is, until I arrived at LCCT in Sepang around 1am on Monday.

I cannot help it but write I must , about what I think are 2 scams that needs urgent attention by the relevant authorities.

First off is, on board our return flight from KK, the pretty flight attendants were selling AirAsia bus tickets for RM9 from LCCT to KL Sentral to ease the passengers burden of queuing-up to purchasing tickets for the bus itself.Very good I thought. Okay, then upon checking out of the terminal, we boarded the waiting bus and journeyed on to the city.

What pissed me off was this bus conductor who collected a ticket from the passenger sitting beside me and instead of tearing the ticket along the perforated line, returned a torned portion of another ticket to her and turned to the next passenger who hadn't purchased a ticket earlier and who wanted to pay cash, sold him, her ticket for RM 9 ! Does the operators or the airlines and bus companies know about this ?? Imagine - here an employee is "screwing" his employer ! And this is corruption !

Okay then we went on to the KL Sentral and disembarked around 2am. And there were easily 30 taxis waiting and drivers touting for passengers. So I confidently asked one to take me home and he asked if I bought a coupon !

Wait a minute here ! These are city taxis and so I asked him why I should buy coupons when he's got a meter ! And I again demanded he use the meter and he told me it was "midnight charges" of RM 18 per coupon from KL Sentral to Happy Gardens off Old Klang Road.

Damnit, I know it only cost RM 7 in the day, so even if it was past midnight that cost should be topped-up 50% and should read RM10.50 ! Right ??

So I angrily walked over to the main road in Brickfields about 100 meters away, lugging my bags and hailed another passing taxi, who I demanded put on the meter and he replied, the charge was 100% over and above the meter amount ! I told that taxi to fcuk_off !! By now I was really pissed, until about 10 minutes later came this taxi who actually took me home. The fare showed RM6.70 and when I got down, he said the fare was RM10. ! Now that is good !

My question is, why is the government wasting their precious time and OUR tax-payers money, with meter calibration being mandatory ruling of the Motor Vehicle Licencing Board and all that shit when these corrupt operators are blatantly abusing the system? Where are the authorities ? Who are the real players in these corrupt companies ? In the night there vermins seem to RULE the streets ! No check...No balance !!

And these taxis drivers are the front-liners, foreigners see of our country while being fleeced and they speak to others of the corruption we, you and I, are so helplessly soaked in ! Shame on you cheats and even more ashamed when asked by my foreign friends who had paid these "hijacked" coupon prices ! Somebody do something before we further sink in this already shitty cess-pool, please !!

There you go folks....an almost perfect, yes it was an almost perfect holiday....but marred by corrupt fellow Malaysians.... ( or are they ??)

P.Ramlee... the Musical -my take !

Well, in all honesty, I am not one who actually fancies local stage plays and am quiet critical about the quality of local production but hey !....wait a minute here.... I was quiet impressed with this play based on my only favorite malay star, P.Ramlee, last night at the Istana Budaya Auditorium ! It was good !

The cast was excellent and the lively dancers displayed great choreographed discipline special mention goes to the "5 paparazzies" and the young man Musly Ramlee even impersonated and sang like the local legend himself, impressively !

Although the entire play was staged in malay, I was more then happy as "a sub-title" digital board was conspicuously placed beside the stage......so there you go folks, if you knew my "malay"... I could easily follow the whole show !

But I must admit there were flaws in the facts of the story-line itself as my hero in real life always enjoyed his drinks and his parties but for unwarranted reasons the producers (maybe begging to be politically correct !!) decided to paint an angel of this "hot-blooded" man while a "certain" wife is portrayed as a overly social party animal...... which I think was unfair to the adult viewing patrons as my admiration for this absolutely talented man P.Ramlee would not waiver anyways and with all due respect to his surviving members of his family, P.Ramlee when alive, never kept it a secret himself and for God's sake man..... this man actually enjoyed his drinks, so why the distortion, I cannot understand.

I really don't care if P.Ramlee enjoyed his Guinness and played mahjong with SB Loy in Princess Cafe', that's his private life !......he was a great entertainer and I loved hearing him sing and watching him act....... PERIOD !!

Who am I to blow against the wind and judge him......right ?

A story of any great man must be told in complete honesty.....and that is my opinion !

But the play per se was wonderful and I must take my hat off to the entire production for a splendid "up-grading" in terms of quality. You, the entire lot, responsible for putting this show together, have renewed my faith in the local theater scene. Syabas !

Wither the 5th safety-belt !

Another "quick-fix" idea that's bound to be exploited by certain quarters...that's for sure ! And with the present sky-rocketing rises in prices of fuel and all essential stuff borne by the lowly paid tax-payers ( read YOU ).......folks, just add this one as an additional burden to the already long list of your existing sufferings, you pathetic souls !(read here and here )

First let's see who's gonna benefit from this ! Yes.....there is the police who'd appear from "thin air" quickly to stop any car with 4 or more passengers ! Why not, as all Malaysian cars are fitted with only 4 safety belts (2 in the front and 2 for rear seat passengers)...so if you got 3 kids, forget the idea of a family "outing" cos surely any passing cop can stop you and cite (I'm sure by now they'd know it by heart !!) the "back-seat buckle-up" ruling and hoping you'd at least plead ignorance and quickly settle the matter...yes ? Whether the 3 months grace period is on or not, is irrelevant as if you have been so far ignorant of the ruling, it's a better angle for them to negotiate with...right ?....right again !

Then there are these local car manufacturers who are promising they'd fit the fifth belt for "free"...yes but at whose time and do you actually think you'd be bothered to take your car all the way to the assembly plants just to fit the extra belt and spend an entire day there ? Get real.... and when you call for an appointment with them they'd say they have a long waiting list lah and blah, blah, blah......till you get pissed off and so you'd opt to an accessory shop nearby to get it done....and guess who pays for the extras....right? Hmmmm..........do I smell a conspiracy here ???

If you ask me, the implementation of this safety belt "thinggy" should have been made mandatory to the car-manufacturing companies especially locally made cars 20 years ago and then educating the public's mind-set on motoring and buckling-up for safety, a long, long time ago...and THAT this ruling should apply to only cars bought after 1st. June 2008 and not anyone else !!

Talk about
Wawasan 2020 ! Sheeesh !!

Unsolved Mysteries !

No names are necessary for these faces, you know who they are, right ?
While we are all so caught-up with the many controversies in the local political scene....has anyone stopped and wondered what became of these children ??? Have the files been closed on them ? Are they surely victims of "snuff" ? Any leads to the capture of the perpetrators ? Are they lost forever and their cases been classified as "unsolved" mysteries ? Have their deaths been in vain and the perpetrator walking or stalking and plotting his/her next move on another victim ?

God bless these and other children as my gut feeling says....."may their souls rest in peace" !
You have a good and sound sleep tonight !

Here In My Home - Malaysian Artistes For Unity

Me thinks this is a damn good song for an ailing nation ! Now if only we can all help make it real ...sigh !!!! To all involved in this clip I say....."cheers" !!

**courtesy of http://www.malaysianartistesforunity.info/

it all started with one drunken Indian !

All was nice and rosey in this once "fair and happy" country of ours....and then came along one drunken Indian (of Malaysian decent ??) bragging on the cell-phone, to kick-start the chain of events leading to a political tsunami in the country and opening cans of worms, long canned and hidden away in the closets of the ruling party BN.... more particularly in UMNO !

I really don't have to go into details as you, learned blog analysts, by now are well equipped with the latest news from other blogs, and have a fairly broad and open view or opinion on our political scenario, right ?

Vote of "no confidence", charges in courts, en-mass resignations, political blackmail, inciting racial hatred, revealing corrupt practices both in the Judiciary and elsewhere and party-hopping seems to be the order of the day and is certainly working well as great distractions from the real issues that begs the rakyat's attention !

For Anwar Ibrahim ( the hopeful PM-in-waiting and who, I'd be very cautious off !) all this is beginning to go according to his plans and to his advantage...... like rats running helter-skelter on the decks of a sinking ship !.....he should also keep in mind the age old saying... "never change horses( or is it donkeys ?) in mid-stream"......cos he'd only be "re-inventing the wheel" by importing old and lame asses (indoctrinated with their bigoted and corrupt "up-bringing" after being so long in a corrupt party !) into his stable and as I have also written in an earlier posting.

Where do we, the rakyat go from here..... and will we be still taken for a "pony" ride again ???

God bless Malaysia !

p.s. the hyena's back !

all for Brazilian beach volley-ball... say aye !

Well now....what else is new here in Bolehland ? My personal view of sports especially football, hockey ( here ) and more recently futsal in this country has been stuck in the gutter and riddled with controversies for so long that I want to throw-up at the very mention of these above 3 "sports".....IF that's what you want to call it !!

Take this latest on-going probe for instance ( here ) and tell me what you think of the integrity and quality of our pathetic local or national teams......and surprise....surprise... even the police team is involved !....hmmm...are you actually surprised ?? Come on, get real !

Corrupt officials breed corrupt players, and favoritism rules the day ! Match-fixing is the instant answer to attain "fake" glory and riches. Why sweat it, huh ? Bringing disrepute to sports itself....well who cares ? That's the Malaysian way !

Do we still need to fund these "sports" with tax-payers ringgits ? Of course you'd argue they have their own funds blah,blah...blah..but whichever way you look at it...the bottom-line is, it is still coming out from you, yes, you the tax-payer ! Think hard now !

Yes, we have fantastic stadiums, venues and fields, while our pampered players don the latest "state-of-the-art" boots, jerseys, sticks, what-nots and whatever and then you see the quality of performance....shit, seriously people it's sheer torture to watch them getting whipped/whacked/walloped by relatively unknown, poor, third-world and war-ravaged countries like Laos, Cambodia or Uzbekistan.

Therefore I hereby vehemently vote we scrape these "sports" entirely and watch bikini-clad beach volley-ball from Brazil on the telly everyday and save the nation a whole lot of money !! Now wouldn't that be absolutely better !!!....right ! Cheers and have a great week-end !

Our very own Gulag ?

Are you related to any of these names listed below ??
If not please read on........

2008:
* May 7: Too Hui Min, 18, passed away three days after complaining of constipation.

* April 16: Afiq Zuhairi, 18, died after a brief febrile illness. He was said to have been treated by camp paramedics several times before being transferred to hospital where he died in less than 24 hours.

* Jan 18: Ili Ameera Azlan, 17, attached to the Ayer Keroh, Melaka camp, after suffering breathing difficulties

* March 1: P. Prema from Kajang, Selangor, attached to the Kisana Beach Resort Camp, Kelantan, found unconscious in a toilet at Jeram Linang at 2.30am. She was taken to the Tengku Anis Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

* Sept 3: Mohd Rafi Ameer, 18, died at 10.30pm after having fever for 1 week. Rafi called his sister to tell her that he had fever and that his leg had been swollen for nearly a week after he fell during training. His death was the 20th since National Service started in 2004.

2006: eerrrrrhhhh...no records available ???????????

2005:
* May 14: Nurul Ashikin Karino, 17, died at the Han Sui, Tawau, Sabah camp. Karino Jalani (father of the deceased) claimed that he was not allowed to meet his daughter who fell and was injured during training.

* June 11: S. Theresa Pauline, 17, attached to the Karisma Camp, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. She was admitted to the hospital on May 23 after having fits. Her death was attributed to viral meningoencephaliti.

2004:
* April 25: Awang Mohd Fazil Awang Borhan, 17, was attached to the Simalajau Camp, Bintulu, Sarawak. He drowned while swimming with 36 other trainees at Sungai Cina, Matang, Kuching, Sarawak.

The above 9 names are just statistics for the record. Can you add the other 8 or more to this list please. No one died in 2006 ? Hmmm..... maybe.....just maybe, it could be your child next year....yes ? Can't imagine....huh, yeah right ?

And you, as a parent must willingly send your child off ( yes...it's a National call to serve the nation !) to our very own Gulag or Auschwitz systems or be dragged and damned in our courts.

So who IS responsible for your child ? Who "benefits" from all this, do you as a parent, the child ( if returns alive), the government, the operators ( connected to the government) of the camp, the contractors who have a new found lively hood to supply essentials/transport/uniforms/food et cetera to these numerous camps all over the country, and a host of other closely "domino- linked" cronies ?????

The names are of real children, and the numbers too are for real and still counting ! Think "tax-ringgits" folks ! Think !!

Where's my *%$#@*&^+! shoes ??

3 things that really "pisses me off" first thing on any given morning are bad governance, not drinking my strong, sweet and cold black coffee, as only Sri would do and IF somebody stole my shoes !

Yes...... somebody stole my shoes this morning and I'm literally hopping bare-feet mad !!...see this must have happened between 4.30am. (that's the time I got back home after a supper of "roti banjir special" with TV Smith, Arnaz and SB Loy) and 6.30 this morning.

I'm pissed too, with the knowledge that somebody actually scaled my fence, breached the sanctity of my compound and took his/their time to take not 1 but 2 pairs of my "not expensive" but comfortable old shoes, from the shoe cabinet, away with them !

I'm pissed too that the local police were missing from their scheduled rounds in and around my neighbour-hood for a long time now and this sheer laziness or bad governance on their part as guardians of tax-paying citizens, inspires and encourages these opportunists or burglars/thieves/rogues the cheek and confidence to go about happily " house-hopping and taking anything of value" away with them !! I should know as I usually return home around the ghostly hours daily !

And this has been going on for the last 4 years in my neighbour-hood, despite my constant nagging and bugging with the men-in-blue.....to a point that they can instantly recognise my cell phone number and address me by name ! ( if you care to read my many earlier postings regarding my "brushes" with cops !)

When will all this end ? Do I have to forever make these calls to them advising/ suggesting that they are "no good" cruising in a patrol car in residential areas but instead be more effective on motor-cycles and in pairs patrolling not just on the main road but into back-alleys and side-lanes too and to stop, check and question anyone in motion at that hour as their ID too will surely not reflect an address belonging to my neighbour-hood ? Hardly anyone has a good reason to be out that late/early, more so, as I know my neighbour-hood is pretty quiet after midnight !

But no sireee, they won't even consider taking constructive advise/ suggestions from mere mortals like me !...hmmmm, how could they and why should they ?? But one thing is for sure about our men-in-blue..... they are perpetually hungry, hence the corner "mamak" stall is where they "hang-out" for the better part of their shift !

And about the coffee part.....well that's another story for another day !

And in the words of pasquale...."No cheers today" !!

for pete's sake-lah !

**UPDATES- 6-May 2008 @11am. RPK's case this morning has SUDDENLY been transferred to the Petaling Jaya court as of now, for reasons only the powers-that-be know....sigh !

RPK has been told to appear at the Magistrate Court tomorrow morning at 9.30 am. where he is expected to be charged for sedition over the recent posting on the "Altantuya case" on his Malaysia Today blog-site.

Here we go again !

Yet again........ another blooper by none other than newly appointed Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Rais Yatim( here) making the women of Malaysia hopping mad and duly objected by the former Foreign Minister !......perhaps his "advisers" should have directed his attention to this page ( here ) for educational purposes and saved the scorn of so many.... before opening his big mouth......sheeesh !

Only in Malaysia we have this "so called" intellects spewing this kinda rubbish !
Take a cue from all foreign consulates the world over and learn, there's nothing to be ashamed of, to borrow ideas and knowledge if it so benefits your ministry ......or is it plain "bodoh sombong" ??

to see or not to see !

Take a look of how previous Parliamentary sessions were conducted and you decide if the sessions should be tele-casted "live".....by popular demand...

of this very famous one....

or this shocking "kick-off" incident !

Now you understand why they don't want us to study the behaviours of our elected "monkeys'-in-suits".....why ? Shy......maybe !
