Now we've sent a man into orbit...what next ?

Yeees ! We are finally a "outer-space travelling nation" ! We are way up there in our region when it comes to being "first" ! I must say "kudos" to our angkasawan Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor....you are the envy of all and I'm proud you are a Malaysian !

Billions have been spent, yes, in the acquiring of Sukoi air crafts deal in contra for "palm-oil" and a promise of a space participant over an agreed period....all good for the image of the "Malaysia Boleh" tag-line .

So now what...? What do we do next ? When this "poster-boy looking" good doctor returns ? Is he going back to his orthopedic practise ? Or will he be starting a "space-programme "ala Malaysia" fashioned somewhere along the National Service program ? He would be "open" to opportunists cashing on him to make a quick "monetary" killing ! Or have the scheming started already ? Would he be awarded a "datukship"......surely we must accord him that at least....one cannot get higher then where this doctor has been, right ! So...it is befitting him ! Our very own man in space and a jolly dashing one too !

Whatever the skeptics say, we won't be sending another cosmonaut or astronaut or "can-or-not" to space in the near future, due to the very, very high costs involved..... so for now I'll raise a glass of my favorite drink and pray for Dr. SMS's highly educational space experience and safe return..... curiously, would he be paraded from school to school, giving talks/lectures to our future generation of budding space-enthusiasts ?? He must teach them early to harness their interest of his "out-of-the-world" expierence !
Cheers to Dr. Sheikh and to all "A Blessed Ramadan " and peace to all men of goodwill !

Is Pak Lah reading my blog ?

Why do I get a funny feeling Pak Lah has been secretly reading my blog-site, huh ?? Hmmm...listen people, a lot of fellow bloggers and I have been repeatedly harping on these very issues in many a post...and today, the good Hadari PM has finally awoken from his deep slumber and is mouthing the exact adjectives I have been exhaustively posting in many a post here and elsewhere !

Good man, this PM of ours (read the full NST report here ), finally making some sense and soon the entire cabinet will parrot these brave words.....“We do not want to pretend and say that everything is okay. We do not want to be in a state of denial. Tell the truth, even if it is painful.".....and... He criticised those who were trapped in the mindset of turning everything into a racial or religious issue.

Well done, my good and holy PM , thank you for those strong and refreshing words and I sincerely pray in this holy month of Ramadan, these strong words don't just remain mere words but are actually put into motion and reality, starting with your cabinet !

I did give fair warning to all hypocrites, pretenders, plunderers and parasites their day of reckoning will come....didn't I ? So there you go......be warned !

Remake of "thriller" and others !

I was browsing through "youtube" and guess what...chanced upon this old classic...guess the 'MalayMale' had this posted on his blog a long long time ago but then again, hey ! why not...made me laugh off my ass over and over.....it's good therapy.....better still if you'd pump-up the volume and dance to it !!!

Exclusively for your viewing pleasure....and have a nice week-end folks...it's been a depressing week for most of us with all the crap floating out of mouths of our good politicians.....! Take a break from it all....sit back and...enjoy !

Cheers !

"Bootylicious" gives Malaysia the boot !

Even the Arabs would stage walk-outs and kick you in the arse if belly-dancers were told to conform to dress-codes or "cover-ups" as is the case of our "holier-than-thou" moral up-holders of Malaysia !!
And that is why Beyonce has told the organisers to shove their 1st. November show, in a place where the sun don't shine and opted to perform in the world's most populated muslim country-Indonesia ! (read here and here ! )
Where are we heading and what is wrong with our authorities ?? Why the hypocrisy over this girl's art on stage ? And mind you, all those hypocrites involved would have ogled and salivated at her dancing and skimpy dressing almost everyday on the Astro entertainment channel, before coming to this decision, right ?
Just because Gwen Stefani complied to that silly "cover-up" ruling..... they thought they won and were right in their decision.........well, morons you are so.... so wrong and this girl, who doesn't even have to go by her surname (that's how famous she is !) has cancelled her show in Kuala Lumpur....hahaha !!! Shame, shame, shame on Malaysia for being so narrow-minded ! Can we not be dragged into the dark ages again and again ??
The organisers are in a dilemma.....though tickets were not sold yet, but what a shame....another loss of a great world-class entertainer who by-passes Malaysia just because of a very small group in authority (read perverts !) decided her show will lead our youth to moral decadence and increase sex crimes in the country......my arse...where have you clowns been ? Or is this also a "political mileage" move, favoring someone ??.... just speculating ! With or without Beyonce, more heinous sex crimes have triple-folded, you idiots ! We, the right-minded Malaysians must stand up to these "bigots" and tell them we are matured enough and don't need anyone to decide on our behalf, whats good for us and what's not ! Enough is enough ! Sheesh are these perverts walking around with perpetual hard-ons ??
I was told Gwen Stefani was in awe and envy, whilst she was performing here last (all covered-up !) at the sight of our audience...... cos the audience came dressed like how she normally dressed in the telly ! Malaysia's loss is Indonesia's gain indeed......and that, people, is a great shame !
Try explaining that to your 10 or 19 year old she won't be going for the Beyonce concert in Kuala Lumpur !

Nurin a victim of a "snuff" syndicate ?

It is indeed chilling to read this story ( here ), now bring that story closer to home and read Pasquale's theory here of our very own little Nurin.....think it's unlikely, or is there a pattern or some similarities ? With the arrest of 5 persons by our Police with or without the help of the FBI or CIA...... this angle eerily fits the crime !
The police are in too damn a hurry to throw the book at all or any suspects and wrap-up this case which has drawn too much bad publicity and criticism from all quarters....to a point of questioning the Polices' priorities, credibility and integrity. First it was a suspect arrested in Jalan Ampang but was vehemently and quickly denied by the authorities and the reporter was hauled-up for being over-zealous in his job......then now these 5 suspects and their 5 hand phones !!!
Why wasn't anyone picked-up during the 30 odd days that little Nurin went missing......you might want to ask ? The IGP together with a few other "distinguished morons" were quick to initiate criminal charges against the parents for negligence..until the good and holy PM stepped in ! Where there no leads to work on at all or were the Police just too busy "solving" other high profile cases ?
Let us tread carefully but surely with the help and assistance of the several "crime" agencies from abroad and our Police, with the blessings of the Internal Security Minister......we'll see justice to the wanton savagery inflicted on an innocent angel named Nurin Jazlin Jazimin .
In the meantime remember.... Nurin is in a safer place than Malaysia... and I surely can't say the same for you folks....that's for sure !
Amen !

the penguins walk....!!!

pheeeeeuit, guys... angelina jolie look-a-like ? (courtesy of Tan A.K.)
the long march.......
even Mother Nature was furious and crying .......of the rotten state of affairs ?
on my right, niamah, and left, zorro, rockybru and mr. anonymous.
all along the boulevard......
police presence as early as 10am
FRU presence too !
a part of the crowd-recognise anyone ?
from another angle of the early crowd around 11am around 11 am- a YB (yang berblog) politician at work !

The battery in my digital camera died about this time..................sigh ! (click on photo for enlarged viewing)
The top 5 photos were uploaded from around the blogs for your viewing pleasure.thanks-27-9-07

Whooooa........the winds of change is blowing, people and today I was in the thick of it at the "penguin walk" from the Palace of Justice to the holy Prime Minister's office in Putrajaya, a walk mooted by the Bar Council of Malaysia to hand the PM a "petition of dissatisfaction and rot in the judiciary" and yes !... I must say it was awesome people, to actually see hundreds and hundreds of learned people of a very noble profession coming together in solidarity and braving the numerous road-blocks all the way to the designated meeting point at the Palace of Justice or POJ, from as early as 9.30am. because that was about the time I was there !

5 buses ferrying lawyers , NGOs and other supporters, from Kuala Lumpur were denied entry ( another way to frustrate the marchers !) about 4 kilometers from the POJ and they all had to walk in the sweltering heat of the morning. By noon the crowd had swelled to well over 1,000 and the peaceful march began.......the start of a new day with the crowd chanting "justice" and "sack the CJ" to " rotten judiciary" !!

Heavy and threatening presence of the FRU in full battle gear plus M-16 and tear-gas weilding personal with the aid of a helicopter spying from the sky was the order of the day ! And one moron recently commented on my blog that the police don't take orders from the politicians ! sheeesh !!

What made me feel real good later on, as we slowly marched in the heat, the entire 1.5 kilometer from the POJ and gathered near the PM's office was in the "oneness" of this marchers as only 4 representatives of the Bar were allowed to proceed to the PM office from there on ...... and just as suddenly I was soaked to the skin by the unexpected thunderstorm that lashed on all !

The stand-off by the FRU personel barricading the entrance to the stairs to the good PM's office against the marchers, was admirable even as they observed the holy month of Ramadan fasting, first in the blistering heat.... then in the lashing storm....! But more so the brave marchers comprising mostly lawyers, bloggers, NGO's, journalists, activists, ordinary Malaysians and well-wishers who never weavered or moved away to shelter, under such horrid weather conditions ! Because they want to see changes in their lives and that of their loved ones !! And the chanting for "justice" continued.......

There is indeed a new wind of change blowing through the corridors of power and this certainly is a "wake-up" call to all pretenders, parasites, plunderers, slumberers and hippocrites !

To all who walked today......I'll raise a toast to you ! Cheeeeeeeeers !

Stop this rot....NOW !

It all started with a footage of a 8 minute conversation, showing a "lawyer tainted with scandalous history involving questionable dealings and conduct that brings disrepute to the legal and judicial professions",talking on the phone.......a very damaging call indeed, recorded in camcorder.... has been released and now the ever-present cancerous rot in the judiciary....has the wrath of the good and holy PM, Bar Council and ordinary suckers...read YOU !!.... Malaysian !

As usual the denials are there from all around......what fools ! Thats what this government and the powers that are, think you are ! A fool ! Just how long are we to go on pretending.........???

Now try and explain the mess in our courts, the verdicts handed down for the 37 charges in the Deros' "ala Klang palace" case, the throwing out of highly sensationalised murder, corruption, abuse of power and graft cases for sheer lack of concrete evidence (whether tampered or not ?), fortunes paid out in compensation for certain blue-eyed boys "within the circle" and the police force at the back and call of other VIP crooks who have "afternoon tea" with top-notch cops !

Everyone in power, from Shahrizat to IGP Musa Hassan and the latest being Nazri Aziz, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (read Nuraina's here), is echoing the threat to charge little Nurin's parents for negligence now ........why, so that they can feel better in knowing they are more capable then the other moron beside him ? Sheesh !

I am walking ( here ) with my fellow Malaysians, come this Wednesday, 26th. September 2007 at 11 am to the PM office from the Palace of Justice (if this "palace" has any meaning at all !) NOT because of the video footage but because of the known ROT in our judiciary !

I need to make a difference !

In memory of little Nurin !

With wrenching pain in my heart I cautiously ventured into the archives to read about these 3 little angels in the photo above who have had met similar or even more horrific ends at the hands of social-scums who have this hell-bent fetish to inflict undescribable pain on innocents ! ( read here ) Or even Pasquale's theory on the subject...here !
It brings us back to the many other children who have dissappeared but have not got the same amount of publicity as these above and a few other more recent and popular highlights like little Yin and the 2 little Kampung Baru girls who are luckier as be alive,( even if they were abused sexually and physically !) as the entire nation cried foul of their dissappearance !
Why were those other kids (about 5 of them ) featured on the same full page as little Nurin,(on the day they splashed the photo of the dead girl on the front page) NOT given as much prominence and with nation-wide searches conducted by the many various organisations hitting the streets, distributing phamplets and forming search parties ? Are their lives not as important ? It is every parent's nightmare and are their families not important enough ? Is it because they were of a different race or ethnicity ? Or is this the media's way of playing-up of a certain type of peoples as being less responsible in taking care of their children ? Are they going to open up these other "missing" kids cases or have they forgotten about them altogether ? What are the police doing about these other lesser children of God ?
I'm writting this post after a certain gentleman ( mind you...he's a nice malay gentleman !) grilled me and dared me to answer all of the above questions ! I too am a parent and I fear for my kid's safety daily and I have no answers !
Do you ?

Mat Rempits rule...ok ?

Shocking and disgusted !! that's how I feel....just how bold and arrogant can these scums of society get ??...and imagine 2 "innocent" and armed-cops being kicked and beaten-up by "mat rempits" in full view of dozens of curious on-lookers ! read here !

People, this is the regular scene in every corner of the country...from big cities to remote villages...come the week-end all our "youths" seem to go into a crazed frenzy.....like the need to pump-up the adrenaline level to a point of a "high".....coupled with some easily accessed drugs and a ready and willing, female "chick" to boot....hmmmm.... why not !...gonna get their kicks the best way they know !! Always travelling in packs too....see, there is unfounded "guts" and "power" in numbers, you know, and with whatever little risk known, scrounge the night-streets for their cheap 'week-end' kicks ! Anything goes...bully and hurl lewd remarks at any motorists staring at their antics, do stupid and precarious stunts at high speed, ride dangerously through red-lights, weave in and out of traffic, snatch hand-bags or hand-phones from unsuspecting victims and irritate all other road-users especially women, irrespective of race of age ! And when caught, their parents would swear their kids are innocent and were very mild mannered and fillial children at home !

There have even been cases when 2 motorists, involved in an accident, out of nowhere come these "mat-rempits" to intimidate one of the motorist and extorting, robbing and even beating-up the motorist without the other motorist (involved in the accident ) even knowing or being associated to, with the "mat-rempits"....they take it upon themselves to be judges and executioneers in metting of punishment.

After-all these "mat rempits" do have the blessings, endorsement and encouragement of the UMNO putera "top-guns" and an awful lot of silent sympathisers within certain quarters of the government...right ?

Let me suggest a novel way to stop this menace on our streets.....place "trigger-happy" sharp-shooters (or snippers !) at strategic points at cross-roads all over town on Friday and/or Saturday nights and take them out as the ride past.....and if they run-out rubber bullets ...I think the majority will agree with me and not protest if they actually used live bullets ! I don't see why not?.....it was generously used and for a lesser "threatening" situation in the so-called recent Trengganu riots, right ??

Menace in the streets !

It's funny how some people will go to great lengths to explain away a problem rather then to take the blame graciously and immediately go about solving the mistake.

Yes, Mr. Sammy, we now know it was the rubbish that was strewn on the roof of the august house by irresponsible contractors that caused the roof to leak but what can we do about the "rubbish" that is terrorising simple folks and the leaks in enforcement in safe-guarding your kinfolk in certain parts of the Klang Valley ?

Right now the gangster problems in the Klang Valley by a certain minority race is really at a 'daring' and alarming state...if you've read about the way armed youths attack families especially women-folk in the middle of the night and create numbing-fear and damage to properties and vehicles, in gangs too big for a few meek to retaliate ! Revenge attacks targeting the innocent....ala...Malaysians of Indian origin "gangsters" !

How do we put an end to this "terror" ? Do we go after the "head"? Are the police too afraid to catch these scums who roam in packs or are are they "closing one eye" so that these gangs will wipe each other out and thus have one "Malaysian of Indian origin" less ?

Will the leader of the pack, Mr. Sammy......do something before they entirely cancell each other out and you'd have no more of your faithful voters.....and I'm told too, you'd be robbed off your pants if you walk alone in certain "tamans" in Klang at night...is that true ??

So you think you are 50 erh ?

So we have turned 50 yes... yeah..yahooo ? Great to be 50 years old...but did you see ( or didn't ) the aftermath of the celebrations, the sights the tv cameras didn't show or the ugly reports not printed in the media or till later ??

Sure we can all act and talk like we're 50 and matured to stand up with the rest of the world and condemn anyone who criticise us....yes, but remember people...IF you don't think like a 50 year old , we are no better from the day we were born.... infantile, immatured and in other words just KIDS !
Just a few minutes ago I was at the Brickfields Post Office and with an envelope to buy a postage stamp. I had a number and was waiting my turn and after about 20 minutes (this is considered fast...and it is a shame the postal service has never improved in their service counters from way back then...that's why we all resort to alternative and super-effecient mediums - emails !) sorry to digress, but when my number was finally called, and by the time I could reach the counter, there was this burly fellow already talking to the staff manning the counter. I asked the staff at the counter at the same time flashing my number, why he was entertaining this moron, and looking sheepishly the postal staff asked the moron for his number. Yes he had a number but it was 5 numbers after mine....so I curtly told him to go back and wait his turn..(No...he was not blind, old, physicaly handicapped....well perhaps mentally...or even a lady !) So what was his problem ?? Just a plain idiotic Malaysian with an atitude, that's all !!! It's the mind-set people......the mind-set !!! We have not evolved much from that portrait on the top-right hand corner of this post !!

And that folks is one of the ways to be responsible and matured in our way of life......others are like throwing rubbish ANYWHERE...even from moving vehicles and spitting anywhere we please...most especially at public eateries, dashing across the road even if there is an over-head pedestrian bridge or never at designated places at junctions just to name a few ! Sad indeed to say we are 50 years old when our mind-set has remained on freeze-mode at 5 !
God save Malaysians !!!

A Merdeka wish !

What would you do IF (God knows I don't wish for this !) you are put in a position and cannot ...for the life of you , and try as you may, find a solution to over-come the ever increasing problems....see there are mouths to feed , no roof over your head, a loved one in urgent need for medication, you have not a penny to your name and are still reeling emotionally over the death of your own son who earlier succumbed to injuries of a fire which robbed you of your entire business and savings and left you in this depressing and hopeless state ! And your wife too is nursing third degree burns all over her body !!(see here !)

Would you be harbouring thoughts of a welcome escape ? Perhaps even suicide ? See you cannot go out to the streets yourself as the heat ( and disgusted stares from fellow Malaysians !! ) of the day does strange and crazy things to the third degree burns on your body !

What will you do ?

This is the real deal man......life sucks for Jeffrey Suah ! His modest "cottage industry" batik bussiness didn't afford him a luxurious life or frequent over-seas holidays or dinning at fancy restuarants or even a bank account......nothing.....for he had some "real" and ready-made monthly expenditures and responsibilities which cannot, not even for once, be tilted or ignored-medical bills for his 78 year old cancer-stricken mother ! Then came the FIRE !

Perhaps our good PM Pak Lah can nominate Jeffery as the first recepient of the Datin Seri Endon Mahmood Batik Foundation ! Afterall she had big plans for Malaysian batik and nows the chance to make her wishes come true ! She'd be so happy !
Such is the fate of Jeffrey Suah's life, folks..... and you thought you had major problems huh ??.......and do continue to pray for him please and do your bit this Merdeka folks, for a fellow Malaysian, thank you and good night....pleasant dreams !

Open season on monkeys !

Freeze this picture in your mind's eye......this will probably be the last you will see of this little fella, thanks to our caring politicians for the generous gesture to trap and ship this little fella off to China where he would either end up in a laboratory or more likely in a cage, chained underneath a table with his head exposed and fitted tightly through a hole on top in a diner for diners to clobber his skull and expose his brains, whilst the happy diner also pours a dash of brandy or rice wine and then stir evenly and scoop-up in little spoons and gleefully eat this poor fellas brains raw while he shrieks and screams in agony till he goes out of his mind and die a cursed death !! Bon apetite !

You might want to ask what crime this little and innocent fella commited ? Nothing...absolutely nothing , that's what !
TV Smith has a photo essay here !

We have these defenseless buggers in abundance here in Malaysia and those found in urban areas have become a nuinance, ( see... it is man-the greedy moron- who encroaches and tears down this little fella's habitat and leave him with no place to live )...so we have the whole "intellegent" cabinet withdrawing the protection accorded under the Wildlife Protection Act , while some crony sets up a company and offers RM 30.00 per "live" monkey to bounty hunters as reward.

A little 'monkey' also told me, this "export company" has an agreed contract to market this prized easy pickings for up to RM300.00 per head ! I wonder how much of this is true.... but then who cares...do you ?? Does anyone know the name of this company ? The directors or share-holders ?

Looks like everything has a price, right ?....now try and imagine how much we can profit if we were to market these monkeys' bigger "cousins-in-suits" who walk the corridors of power........eerrmhh..no, not much lah...cos the sale is priced according to brain-size lah ! Nope...surely not profit, but I like the thought and am willing to forego any profit !

I cannot stand tall as a proud Malaysian this Merdeka for I am ashamed and I bow my head in mourning for the fate of this little fella who incidently is a relative....... and yours too !! It's okay if you still want to deny......afterall we do live in a state of 'DENIAL'...right ?

Caring Malaysians indeed....so to everyone else...Merdeka ! whatever that means anymore !

Good diversion from real issues !

What a load of bull......this mass diversion of the rakyat's attention from the real issue.... the many scandals and the raping of billions of RM by the powers-that-be, to direct our focus on an almost innocent rap version of the National anthem by a frustrated but patriotic student in Taiwan !! (I hear it was quite tastefully done by this talented young man !) Shame on you guys to even discuss and waste Parliament time ( read here) and MP's salary for such a so-called non-issue !! That young man has sincerely apologised.....accept it and move on...!! I also know of bigger men (both in age and position) who have not the guts to do the gentlemen thing !

I dare Parliament to get the real unpatriotic swindllers and morons who are robbing my country blind and bring to book all those arrogant and self appointed "little napoleons" first, as the issue sizzles-up in the Port Klang FTZ bail-out, the unwarranted expenditure of tax-payers funds used for organising the CYC, the screw-ups in road/transport tragedies daily, the Proton sale issue or even the absolute rot in our double-standard police force (click Rocky on blog-roll )....shameful to discuss this "Negaraku ku" thingy in Parliament.....get a life, all you monkeys-in-suits and make me proud of your position by displaying your intellegence in that august house !......go for real issues about racial harmony, transparency, national unity and intergrity and honesty in discharging of the laws and rules without fear or favor by the police !
Don't use this "Negaraku ku" as an excuse to stall or buy time to do cover-ups ! Enough is enough ! We are 50 years old....enough of bullshit, please.....we know how to address an insult when we hear one....and right now in all honesty, there is a little truth in this angry and short-changed young man's version ......okay but now let me divert your attention back to the REAL issues mentioned above !! And that's my Merdeka dream wish list !
God Bless Malaysia........my homeland !

move on.....its only fated, right ?

What a sick and bizzare week this has been....first I deliberately left my CYC posting on, just so I can say... "there you have it folks...just 1 point from 3 games".....and we are kicked out even before we can start bragging...and you...yeah you and I...........dumb tax-paying suckers !!... still think we can save this poor excuse for a sport from lining the pockets of some very "FORTUNEate" people within the inner circles of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and their cronies ! Forget it and lets just move on, folks......okay !

If that was not bad enough for the week.....then comes this tragic bus accident in Bukit Gantang near Taiping !

It tears me to read these heart-wrenching stories (read here). So who's going to explain to the near and dear of the critically wounded or dead persons to move on in life......get over it or it was "fated" that it happen ...?? The bus operaters, the licensing board, the Minister of Transport, the police, JPJ, JKR or CVLB or the innocent mother of the dead driver, who still swears of her son's innocence and responsibility despite having had 13 summonses and 2 warrants of arrest ??

Everything will be done now to pass the blame from one department to another whilst all heads of department maintain a perfectly balanced composure of a guilt-free image !

And if all avenues are exhausted......then point a finger skywards....and declare the ever famous "act of GOD " tagline !!

And no questions or inquiries will arise, just some huhah pretenders disguised as committees investigating and wasting more tax-payers monies as the bus operators continue to milk the poor, lowly folks who still need to take a bus, the JPJ will continue to be "closing one eye", the police will not comment as investigations are still under way , the minister will still not miss his golf game every morning, and the mother will still love and terribly miss her devoted and innocent bus-driver son....life goes on...move on and get a life... and thats the reality of life in this doomed country !

God bless Malaysia on her 50th. birthday and we continue to move on........sigh !

we are suckers..again...yes ?

At a time when Malaysians are looking for miracle answers to the woes of Malaysian football, I find it very ironic, if not hypocritical of the Malaysian Government, in this case the Ministry of Youth and Sports, to hold an insignificant tournament that costs a whopping RM17 million of yours and my tax-deduct money !!!

Yes...I am talking about the
Champions Youth Cup under-19 tournament from Aug 8-19. Can you imagine that RM17m of our money is spent on a 12-day tournament? I believe the Ministry has signed on a 2+1 year deal, which makes it three years with a total of RM51 million ++ folks, over a combined total of a 36-day period .

Will somebody please answer these few awkward yet pertinent questions ???

How can a 12-day under-19 football tournament, even involving the world’s best clubs help elevate the status and standard of Malaysian football ?
Is there some kind of twinning programme where our under-19s can live, train, and compete in Europe ?
How does training with the Arsenal Academy for a week or two help improve the quality of our national under-19 team that went there ?
Isn’t that eyewash just to show that the CYC is beneficial to Malaysian football ?
If this was a showcase event for the celebration of 50 years of Merdeka, then why this isn’t a tournament that parades the stars of these clubs ?
Do Azalina and gang believe we the Malaysians are going to fill the stadiums to watch these matches when there are no big names in these teams ?
Are we being again conned by the "certain foreigners" with the help of our own kind who are probably profiteering out of this too ?
Who is going to question Azalina and her gang on this ?

But what stuns me the most is that the same Cabinet Committee for Sports that has demanded an explanation from the FAM, has not questioned the justification of spending RM17 of taxpayers’ money on a tournament that is in no way going to help develop Malaysian football.

Shouldn’t that money be channeled to football development? If Azalina and the Cabinet are truly interested in seeing our "juara kampung" football improve, and if they are sincere about wanting to help, then shouldn’t they have been more thrifty than spendthrift ?

Everyone knows that Malaysian football needs that money more than the "white men" who own this tournament. Here’s Malaysian football crying for help, and the Malaysian Government is pumping its money into frivolous ventures.

Sure hosting the CYC is good, but at this cost, it’s a sheer waste of money, At the end of the day we will be paying the "mat sallehs" RM17 million to humilate and demoralise our under-19 team right in our own backyard ! And then what is the Cabinet Committee going to do, ask for another report from FAM....or the usual post-mortem again ??

I am no fan of the FAM, and I know it has not done much to make its defence good. But how sincere can Azalina and the Cabinet Committee be about wanting to see football development in this country when they keep focusing on money-making ventures ?

A little bird also told me that a certain officer of the Ministry’s communications department is going to financially benefit from this tournament too ?.....heheheh...ya baby... Malaysia Boleh !!

I know the mainstream media can’t question the justification of the CYC because Azalina basically has them by their balls by investing in the various papers on advertisements. On top of that, the organizers have invested more than RM1 million in advertising in yet another main -stream paper.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but what it simply means here is, instead of sending the under-19s to Arsenal Academy, we should send our National team to Brasil for maybe 3 weeks or even 3 months (never mind the cost !!) and voila'...!... we'd have a world class team ready for the next world cup !...yes ??

So I believe we should say our piece and help put an end to this tournament being played here again for that kind of money. This year’s RM17m is lost, but I, Shanghai Stephen, hereby propose we still can save the country from being "screwed" of another RM34 million of our hard earned tax money !!
Cheers !

Developed State...Selangor ???

I am pissed off...really pissed off with the attitude of the government servants in the Land Office in Banggi, Selangor. It is 9 months now, since payment was made to extract a document and get it certified by a moron who alternates as a Assistant District Officer, with no sight of the document or a firm answer from any of the staff as yet !(Tell me , how long does it take for you to take a page out of a file, photostate it and get it signed by your boss and then give me a call to come and collect it ???)...OR do I have to 'grease' someone's palm.......do I really, really, please tell me ?????

Why and what do these government servants, who live off, tax-payers money, do all day long in the office is beyond me !! I have tried all avenues as to contact an idiot within that "small estate" claims office but he's never in or always telling me he's busy or his collegue will say he's out for a hearing or "khursus" or "meshuarat" or some other bull-shit excuse !

By a stroke of stupidity by a certain over-zealous moron of old, certain properties or parcels of land in the Ulu Langat district are misplaced/shared between 2 land offices, i.e. the Banggi Land Office and the Salak Tinggi Land Office in Sepang.

As the saying goes "caveat emptor" or in layman's language "let the buyer beware", all those who have purchased properties whose original titles lead back to "Extract from the Mukim Registry"(or E.M.R.) and have a "Restriction-in-interest" clause,( today they have it in so many other names in Bahasa Malaysia !!) in the Ulu Langat region in Selangor , you have to juggle between these 2 land offices IF and WHEN you are faced with the misfortune of inheriting your beloved's property in that district, upon their demise ! God help you !

I am actually hoping these "government servants" who are being paid by my tax deducts try and contact me after reading this post ( ahhh... now I know, maybe they spend their day reading blogs, sheesh... I should start writing in Bahasa !)...or can someone tell that "Developed State"-Chief Minister with a dentistry background to go kick some arses or asses in Banggi Land Office ( Harta Pesaka Department on the 1st. floor !) and then contact me !!

I'm sick of the arrogance displayed by these morons at that land office when contacted, and who act like "I owe them my life" and have no decency to do a days "honest" work !

Developed state indeed...just wait for the next election !

It's official, blogger Jeff Ooi of Screenshots fame has finally applied to be a member of the Democratic Action Party or DAP and is gearing to run for a Parliamentary seat in the up-coming election ! Go man......go !
(go here for more)

He is going in with his eyes wide open and his "Think Malaysian First" catch-line and will face a struggle against the more well-equiped Barisan Nasional power-house with their 3 M's i.e. money, machinery and media ! (you may be tempted to add another M for "monkeys" !)

Of course Jeff will be the bloggers "choice and voice" in all the right places and I know he would "right the wrong perceptions" BN politicians have been drilled to think of, of bloggers at large ! He also mentioned in his inaugural "acceptance" speech that he will "enrich the joe public"......well thats good enough for me for now !

"You may be disappointed if you fail...,but you are doomed if you do not try," -: Jeff Ooi (31-7-07)

Of hypocrites and their prey !

Now that you 've had a good idea and the meaning of hypocrites, we now go about trying to come to terms of these vermins in our midsts !! (also see pic of the week- in tune with cyberspace name-calling !)

Yes,.... you meet them in the office, in Parliament, in pubs, around your neighbourhood, at shopping malls, on the streets, at places of worship, at home, as a matter of fact you can even meet them inside a lift ! They appear as friends , relatives, teachers (religious or otherwise) perfect gentlemen, perfect ladies, politicians or distinguished notaries or just plain stooges of the government ! In short , people whom you have had a fair share of trust placed upon or had convinced you to share your faith with them in all sincerety and hope.... and betrayal or being betrayed is the last thing on your mind ! See you'd go that extra mile to promote them or even give an arm or a leg to protect them !

And thats why you'd feel screwed and drained of life after they have stabbed you in the back and while you bleed, are gloating over your misplaced trust, sincerely laid bare, before them for their manipulation. Your faith in human-kind is certainly at its lowest and "trust" is the most despicable word in your vocabulary ! These hypocrites live off of an alter ego, a figment of their deluded imagination and go on to live off of another unsuspecting victim.

And you are still coming to terms with yourself for being so foolishly naive' and vulnerable in your choice of "people you trust" !....you need a change hhmmmm....or you sure are screwed again, man.....sigh !

"HYPOCRITES"

Today's post (cut & paste ..!) is all about hypocrites in our midst...see if you can identify or relate this post to someone...anyone ?-(extracted from Wikipedia-HERE). Read on ...this is educational and enlightening for all !

Etymology
The word hypocrisy derives from the Greek ὑπόκρισις (hypokrisis), which means "acting out"; the word hypocrite is from the Greek word ὑποκρίτης (hypokrites), the agentive noun associated with hypokrisis, i.e. "actor." Both derive from the verb κρίνω, "judge, assess," presumably because the performance of a dramatic text by an actor was to involve a degree of interpretation, or assessment, of that text.
Nevertheless, whereas hypokrisis applied to any sort of public performance (including the art of rhetoric), hypokrites was a technical term for a stage actor and was not considered an appropriate role for a public figure. In Athens in the 4th Century BC, for example, the great orator Demosthenes ridiculed his rival Aeschines, who had been a successful actor before taking up politics, as a hypokrites whose skill at impersonating characters on stage made him an untrustworthy politician. This negative view of the hypokrites, perhaps combined with the Roman disdain for actors, later shaded into the originally neutral hypokrisis. It is this later sense of hypokrisis as "play-acting," i.e. the assumption of a counterfeit persona, that gives the modern word hypocrisy its negative connotation. In all this, we do not find the modern idea that the hypocrite is unaware of that his performance or argument stands in contradiction with his self: on the contrary, a hypocrite in antiquity was someone who intentionally tried to deceive others.

Defining hypocrisy
In an act of hypocrisy the aim is to condemn another person or people, not to condemn an act. To preach against an act of which one is oneself guilty does not in itself constitute hypocrisy, even if one takes efforts to conceal one's behaviour. It becomes hypocrisy when it involves verbal attacks or demands of punishment against perpetrators of the act that one practices oneself. Hypocrisy can be, simply put, the pot calling the kettle black.
Concealment or evasion is not necessary for hypocrisy; hypocrisy can involve the open practice of a behavior for which one condemns others. If there is a salient difference between the critic and the criticized that makes the criticized person reproachable for the act, but the critic not, it is not hypocrisy; e.g. a parent condemning his child for using a dangerous implement that the parent himself uses is not a hypocrite. If the difference in status appealed to by the critic is bogus, it is indeed hypocrisy. The term double standard is used, confusingly enough, for both cases, as a simple descriptive phrase in the case of the parents, and as a pejorative phrase for open hypocrisy in the second case. [2]
Whether the criticism is based on the absence of a behavior or on the practice of a behavior, the same criteria for hypocrisy apply.
An accusation of hypocrisy may be considered a logical fallacy (specifically that of argumentum ad hominem) because the person carrying out the condemnation is not relevant to the argument used as the basis for that condemnation. A parent who instructs a child not to smoke cigarettes, but who himself smokes, could be making an argument that is valid in and of itself, regardless of the parent's behavior.

Hypocrisy and morality
Hypocrisy has been described alongside lack of sincerity, as a characteristic which attracts particular opprobrium in the modern age. [3]Many belief systems condemn behaviours related to hypocrisy. In some translations of the Book of Job, the Hebrew word chaneph is rendered as "hypocrite," though it usually means "godless" or "profane." In the Christian Bible, Jesus condemns the scribes and Pharisees as hypocrites in the passage known as the Woes of the Pharisees. [4] In the Buddhist text Dhammapada, Gautama Buddha condemns a man who takes the appearance of an ascetic but is full of passions within.[5] In Islam, the Qur'an rails against the munafiq - those who claim to be believers and peacemakers, thinking they are fooling Allah and others, but only fool themselves. [6]
Cheers and have a great "guilt-free" week-end !

"Pirates of the Golden Triangle" !

Well... in just one night out with a cousin and a foreigner, I have partically solved and identified the ever notorious "taxi driving fleas" and their "harbourers" !
It was like this, last Saturday I went to meet my cousin and an Irish friend at the Mandarin Oriental in the KLCC area and as usual, as it is on week-ends , traffic was heavy, so I decided to leave my car at the hotel car park ( and there was the anticipated "much" boozing too !!) and hop on a taxi with the two, to Bukit Bintang for dinner first. We waited in a queue for our taxi and soon the concierge waved one for us. The minute we got in , with a strange accent the driver told us "Thenn rangitt "....I was shocked and protested in bahasa and told him to put the damn meter on, he refused and gave me the dirtiest look, citing traffic-jam bullshit, et cetera et cetera, I immediately told my cousin and our Irish friend to get out of the taxi. We were still at the entrance of the hotel and the driver started swearing at me under his breath, in bahasa ! I naturally retorted and demanded the hotel staff manning the flow of taxis arriving, to reprimand this uncouth taxi driver for not following directives of our fair government, to which ,very sneakily the bell-hop wispered to me.... "no problem ,sir.......we get you another taxi, hokay sir ". By this time , I was already very hot under the collar !! Another few minutes went by, cos there were others too , happily boarding other taxis and getting screwed by the drivers, in the "taxi queue". Then it was our turn and sure enough came this taxi, and the minute I got in , I told the driver to put the meter on,...and to my horror he pointed to the dash-board and sheepishly muttered "No meter, sir !" but I take you to Bukit Bintang for "ten dollah... siiir " !!!!( he had hoped I was from the Bronx !) Just what the hell was going on, I wondered aloud !
This was just too much shit to take so early in the night and even as my cousin tried to pacify me by saying we were running late, I was adamant and got out and went straight to the concierge and explicitly told them, inter alia, they were in cahoots with these taxi drivers !
Sensing trouble, the nice and diplomatic bell-hop quickly herded me aside and smilingly, summoned another..... "special hotel taxi for you only ,sir !" as he snapped his fingers towards a new taxi waiting nearby, definately this time with a meter and also with a very pleasant driver to boot, who eventually took us to our destination, Starhill, for a fraction of the earlier quoted price ! ( guess these "hotel taxis" are kept hidden and on stand-by for people like me who kicked-up a fuss !)
Now you see if only the clean authorities were to go under-cover...sigh.... I'm sure they can nab these maggots who are actually tarnishing the good image of this here country of ours ! How can these hotels of high repute allow these taxis to ply their guests and in the process, rip them ? Every hotel in the "golden triangle" allow these operators to legally fleece their guests, and I say, these so-called high class hotels are to be blamed for this menace ! Isn't it the hotel's responsibilty to ensure all taxis picking up their guest are "certified legal" and government complied taxis ? These hotels practically harbour these "pirates" in their quest for ferrying and fleecing all these gullible and rich foreigners of their euros or dollars !
There you go, Mister Ministers of the relevant Ministries........ start cracking your whip and here laid before you is your expose' .......touche'.......!

Harvard grad, Nat's Free !

Looking a little pale, nervous, tired and dishevelled, with an undergrowth of sparcely rooted facial hair, otherwise known as a beard, Nat Tan walked out of detention at Bukit Perdana Cyber-crime Division of the Police Force today a little after 5.10 p.m.

Together with fellow bloggers, Zorro, O.B.E. and A Voice, a small group of Keadilan supporters and a lawyer, his family and girl-friend Li-Tsin, I was truely glad Nat Tan was finally released from a detention of 4 days, for reasons only the police think is law justified ! This draconian ISA or OSA and unlawful detention HAS to be abolished....period !
As far as I was concerned, Nat the blogger, was free and that was that !
Guess he will need a lot of catching-up of 'quality time' with his family, for the 4 lost days !
Cheers to Nat Tan !
